Eltek Labs was founded in December 1987 by Edward J. Van Vooren, the current president and CEO. It has been located in the state of Missouri since opening for business. Eltek Labs is a Delaware registered Corporation licensed to conduct business in the state of Missouri. Eltek labs has clients throughout the United States, Western Europe, and Asia. Eltek Labs is certified to ISO 9002 International Quality Management accreditation program standards, and is registered with QMI (Quality Management Institute), a division of the Canadia Standards Association (CSA). CSA is an Accredited Registrar with the American National Standards Institute. Eltek Labs has been ISO 9002 certified since March 1992, making it one of the first 400 companies in the United States to become certified to this high level international-quality management standard. Eltek labs is also an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Certified Laboratory and Agency. The company is highly regarded for their evaluation of Electrical Insulating Materials (EIM), Electrical Insulation Materials (EIS), and Electrical Devices.
