Downhole Induction Probe
VECTEM
The three component downhole VECTEM V receiver probe is designed to be used in conjunction with the terraTEM24. It is available as a 42mm outer diameter tool. The VECTEM V is connected to the terraTEM24 via a four core cable which provides power, communications, and signal monitoring.

Field Sensor
TR_B
The terraTEM TR_B Field surface sensor has been fully integrated to work seamlessly with the terraTEM. Recording three components of the Earth’s magnetic field simultaneously, the TR_B Field sensor comes with solid state rotation elements to be used in conjunction with the terraTEM inbuilt rotation software. The sensor also has automatic nulling of the ambient B-field.

terraTEM Receiver Coils
TRC
The terraTEM multi-turn receiver coils (TRC) are designed to be used in place of largTRC ver sideviewXe receiver loops, placed either inside or outside the transmitter loop with the measurement point being at the location of the TRC. The compact size of the TRC receiver, measuring just 0.6m x 0.6m x 0.33m, makes the multi-turn coils convenient to use, and is available in either single component or three component form with the latter requiring the multi-channel receiver option to be fitted to the terraTEM.

Voltage Rectifier
A voltage rectifier, designed and manufactured by Monex GeoScope Pty. Ltd., has been added to the terraTEM suite of products. The voltage rectifier has been designed to provide 6 kW, 120 V, 50 A output and is the ideal rectifier to guarantee the necessary stable, ripple free current for the full range of Monex GeoScope’s transmitters. This includes the internal transmitters for the terraTEM24 (50 A, 120V), terraTEM (15 A, 24 V) and the terraTX-50 external transmitter (50 A, 250 V). In addition, the voltage rectifier outputs a clean, filtered 24 V suitable for powering either the terraTEM24 console or terraTX-50 console electronics. And the output stability of the voltage rectifier is not disturbed by the fast turn-off times available on the Monex GeoScope transmitters.

Transient EM System
terraTEM
The terraTEM is a robust transient electromagnetic (TEM) survey system which provides high resolution conductivity imaging. Applications for the terraTEM include mineral exploration, near surface applications including geotechnical and engineering investigations, groundwater and salinity studies, and environmental surveys.

Innovative EM Technology
BIPTEM
The new system arising from this project will be known as BIPTEM (B field, Induced Polarisation, Transient Electromagnetic). Depending on the target nature, the system can be flown in fixed ground loop, traditional in-loop, or long‑offset Slingram configurations.

External Transmitter
terraTX-50
The terraTX-50 is a high power field transmitter capable of delivering 50Amps to a transmitter loop, designed to be used in conjunction with a terraTEM unit. The period is controlled by the terraTEM24, terraTEM or the optional inbuilt GPS synchronisation module within the terraTX-50. The ramp and the full Tx current waveform are directly inputted into the terraTEM24 or terraTEM. This makes the terraTX-50 simple to operate, freeing up operators from inputting key system parameters into the console after each sounding.
