    Manufacturers of electrical or electronic products are required by law to carry out an electrical safety test before placing them on the market. This final test takes place at the end of the manufacturing process and is therefore also referred to as an EOL test (end-of-line).   • Leakage Test

    Leakage current and discharge current depend on the insulation of the device. The measurement simulates various fault situations that could occur during operation. The test determines whether the measured current is within the permissible limits and poses no danger to the user in case of a fault.

    Being a system developer as well as a system integrator we offer an entire service portfolio. Wherever you have a problem - we have the specialist in our team. We gladly make a feasibility study for a new product, write test specifications or later test applications.Our colleagues are happy to check or calibrate your test system, expand or optimize your test specification, manage the move to another site or train new personnel. In case you plan to build a new factory, our experience might be helpful tp plan of the new test field.

    The National Instruments PXI-6528, PCI-6528, and PXI-6529 Digital I/O Modules are isolated digital I/O interfaces for PCI and PXI. These modules can use inputs from NI 6528 and PXI 6529 devices to capture the status of sensors, actuators, and logic devices. NI 6528 devices have 24 SSR outputs for switching external devices with input currents up to 150 mA. The NI 6528 and PXI-6529 devices are suitable for a variety of applications, from automotive development and industrial factory automation to aerospace, laboratory research, and biomedical applications due to their high current handling capacity and isolation.

That is when our development department comes to place. Our colleagues already developed many approaches from little, practicable assemblies up to holistic measurement features. These solutions are customer oriented and together with a special firmware this is often a useful solution.

  • HV-Test System for Capacitor Packages

    The system is used to characterize the leakage currents of capacitor packages. LXinstruments implemented a project-specific PCBA for the required HV switching. The measurement technology consists of Keithley source meters and USB based devices. The DUT adaptation with safety technology was realized in cooperation with ATX.

  • Power Distributions

    LXinstruments Power Distribution Units (PDU) provide all of the functionality required to power a test system in a compact 19-inch rack. This means that devices can be supplied with both mains voltage and DC voltage. With the soft-on-off function, the PDU can be controlled remotely via remote buttons and other potential-free contacts. We carry single-phase devices for the 16 A connection to three-phase devices for the 3x63 A or for the 125 A connection.
