DC-DC Converters
The standard range of DC-DC Converters contains units with power outputs from 40W to 5kW. Small footprints, high conversion efficiencies and floating outputs are common throughout the converter range. For users that require the highest reliability a number of our converter families demonstrate MTBF figures of 750,000 hours. Our most rugged converter designs are capable of operating in ambient temperatures as low as -40°C and as high +80°C.

DC Electronic Loads
An adjustable electronic load gives the test engineer the ability to qualify designs, check production batches or service and repair electrical products. Many applications demand an adjustable electronic load. These include the burn-in of new devices along with general power supply, battery, fuel cell and generator testing. Both static and fully dynamic DC loads are offered. With dynamic functionality 2 levels of load current can be set. The rise and fall time can then be adjusted together with the time period spent at each level. The load can also be made to follow complex waveforms by tracking an external arbitrary oscillator input.

Rectifier/Modular PSUs
The rectifier families are housed in either 19" racks or provided as compact modules. The rack mounting rectifiers are aimed at telecoms applications. This range of robust rectifiers start at 250W and have a life time of more than 8 years and an MTBF of over 50 years. For even greater security these hot swap modules can be configured to provide a redundant DC output. Up to 2 additional AC inputs with automatic switchover are provided on a number of these telecoms rectifiers.

AC Electronic Load
The electronic AC loads cover a wide variety of different voltage, current and power ranges. All the AC loads are programmed with 11 different sine, square and DC waves. With 5 crest factor variations of each, a total of 55 waveforms are available. An external input is also provided to enable the user to amplify signals from a waveform generator.AC Loads allow real world operating conditions to be simulated. Typical applications include circuit breaker, transformer & UPS output testing along with general laboratory and research work.

DC-AC Inverters
The standard DC/AC inverters start at 125VA and rise to redundant modular systems capable of a 48kVA output. All our inverters give a true sinewave output and have proven themselves to be exceptionally reliable in numerous applications. Our DC/AC power inverters are provided in a variety of different case styles from wall mount, benchtop to modules, cassettes and 19" racks. A number of inverters can be built and approved to railroad and automotive standards. Stand-alone units are complimented by DC/AC inverters with built-in bypasses. The INV-TC3P is capable of providing 3-phase generation from a 48VDC supply.
