  • Manual Tablet Testing Units

    H-Series - Teledyne LABS

The manual lab testers of the H-series in the new LAB.line design combine state-of-the art technology with usability: round shapes, generous radii and smooth surfaces allow for easy and hygienic cleaning.Operation of the embedded touch display is simple and intuitive: you can change a product or view informative test results with just a few clicks. The H series consists of three unit variations with usually 500 N, alternatively 50 N or 1000 N. The H5 version offers to connect an external scale (Sartorius/Mettler). With the H5+ version, you can even perform high-precision measurements with the external thickness gauge module.

  • Compact Tablet Hardness Tester

    HC 7 - Teledyne LABS

The new member of our Lab.line product family: the HC 7 hardness tester for manual use in the laboratory.Equipped with a touch display and the new database-driven touch software, the HC 7 impresses with its exceptional user-friendliness. The new software can be operated intuitively and is equipped with all important functions for quick operation.Start your quick, direct and product testing with just a few clicks directly via the touch display and set up to 50 products. Reports can be printed externally via USB or LAN interface. It is also possible to connect DYMO* and EPSON* roll printers (*special models only).

  • Diffusion Cell Testing

    Teledyne LABS

Teledyne LABS Phoenix™ Dry‐Heat Systems make diffusion‐cell testing faster, easier, and more economical. The Phoenix Systemincludes an advanced diffusion cell design. Options include the compact Phoenix DB-6 six‐cell manual sampling system and the Phoenix RDS automated sampling system capable of handling up to 24 diffusion cells at once.An important advantage of the Phoenix System is the speed with which receptor cell contents are homogenized. Visual testing with red dye placed on the surface of the media at the top of the sampling arm shows complete dispersion occurs within a few seconds.Explore the pages in this section to learn more and to configure your own system.

  • Dissolution Tester Accessories

    Teledyne LABS

Teledyne Hanson's diverse range of dissolution tester accessories significantly expands the functionality of their instruments, catering to various applications such as small volume testing, Chinese small volume testing, semisolids testing, and immersion cell usage per USP <1724>. The lineup includes:- Precision dissolution vessels- Vessel covers- Paddles (USP Apparatus 2)- Baskets (USP Apparatus 1)- Paddle over disk “transdermal sandwich (USP Apparatus 5)- Rotating cylinder (USP Apparatus 6) - Sampling probes- Small volume kits- Filter block kits- Humidity-sealed dosage-drop chambers- Stationary basket and cover

  • Automatic Capsule Weighing & Measuring

    CIW 7.4 - Teledyne LABS

The automatic weighing system CIW 7.4 LAB is a special version to the CIW 7.2 LAB. In addition to weight, the CIW 7.4 LAB allows an optimal and almost force-free length measurement for capsules. The capsule is positioned without affecting the measurement of the capsule length. The CIW 7.4 LAB in the laboratory version is now equipped with the database-supported, intuitive all-in-one touch software and no longer requires additional software solutions for most areas of application. The functionality of the software can be extended modularly – fitting your needs and requirements.

  • Dry Heat Diffusion Cells

    Phoenix Series - Teledyne LABS

The Phoenix™ Diffusion Cell provides improved ease of use, high durability, and greater versatility as compared to conventional hand-blown vertical diffusion cells. Phoenix cells operate on dry heat; no water-jacketing is required, allowing construction from heavy-duty borosilicate glass held to very tight dimensional tolerances. The extract-and-replace sampling through the large diameter opening in the sampling arm accommodates standard pipette tips (~300 μL), simplifying the sampling process while reducing training and operating costs.

  • Tablet Hardness Testers

    Teledyne LABS

Teledyne LABS offers both manual and automated tablet hardness testers. Tablet hardness testing is a method of determining mechanical properties of a drug product, typically oral dosage forms such as a solid dose tablet. Tablet breaking force (commonly called tablet hardness) is a crucial characteristic in the manufacture of solid dose formulations. Tablet hardness testing is a major step in tablet consistency and quality control.

  • Powder Flow

    Teledyne LABS

The Flodex is an easy-to-use tool for determining the flowability index of a powder over an arbitrary scale of 4 to 40. This index can be used as a specification for raw materials. The test takes into account numerous parameters that affect powder flowability, such as:- Particle size and shape- “Fines”- Unit surface area- Actual density and bulk density- Porosity- Settling characteristics- Electrostatic charges
