Thurst Reverser Cowl Actuator
The Thrust Reverser Cowl Actuator is a single-acting telescoping actuator used to open the thrust reverser cowl doors on the A320neo engine nacelle. The actuator has one port for extension with retraction being accomplished by the cowl door weight. The inner piston includes a hydraulic lock feature that will stop the cowl door opening due to the wind load case of 40 knots pulling the door open.

Control Cables
TRIUMPH specializes in cable controls which are mechanical connections between controls and actuation systems used in a variety of applications. Our systems provide higher reliability, lighter weight, and greater control box selection. Current controls include wire rope, push-pull controls, sliding friction controls, ball-bearing controls and low-resistance and backlash mechanical control system cables. Wire Rope Controls: Wire Rope is used in applications where weight is critical, and the system operates in tension only. Assemblies are built to your required standards with unlimited configuration capabilities. Sliding Friction Controls: High load capacity in tension and compression. Flexible in any direction, wide temperature range and easy installation. No adjustment or lubrication needed during the life of the control. Ball Bearing Controls: Ball Bearing controls are a self-contained system that performs linear motion under tension or compression loads.Precise and accurate movement with high load capacity offering weight savings, low friction and high efficiency. Quick disconnect ends available.

Cockpit Controls
TRIUMPH Mechanical Solutions produces cockpit controls and quadrants specifically designed to meet unique customer requirements. Our Electro-Mechanical Cockpit modules are frequently married to our push/pull controls to produce combined output devices. For example, a throttle quadrant with switch/transducer outputs and mechanical cable connections to an engine control system.
