ARA has over 55 years of experience designing, developing, and manufacturing antennas and RF systems for both military and civilian applications. These antenna and RF systems are used across a multitude of industries to include: Communication Networks, Unmanned Air Systems SATCOM, RADAR, RF Surveillance and Jamming for Electronic Warfare, Spectrum Operations and Border Patrol, Public Safety Networks, and Civilian markets. ARA products cover all commercial and military frequency bands from 10 Hz to 80 GHz and antenna types optimized for specific bands. Multi-octave antenna systems are available for fixed, mobile, and tactical applications.

Simulators/Threat Emitters
Antennas for RADAR test, simulation and training are designed for integration into complete threat RADAR simulators for use on combat training and test ranges or in simulators for training and evaluation of RADAR operators, aircrews, air-traffic-control or weather radar applications. All antennas for RADAR simulators have high RF power handling capabilities and generally use pressurized transmission lines. Dual-band, single aperture antennas and a cluster of separate antennas mounted to a single pedestal are ideally suited for RADAR simulators in mobile, fixed, shipboard and airborne environments.

Military Communications
ARA provides VHF, UHF, and L/S/C single and multiband antennas as part of our multiband military communication antenna product line. These antennas have been used for well-known programs such as SINCGARS, EPLRS, JTRS, and WIN-T. We can integrate a variety of standard filters, LNAs and components into our rugged antennas for custom communication systems. ARA also provides military communication antennas for UAV applications.

The telemetry antennas help ground engineers and control room personnel acquire airborne and ground telemetry data. With over 55 years of antenna design and manufacturing experience, the suite of telemetry antennas developed by ARA can operate across a wide range of frequencies and environmental conditions. The wide range of bandwidth, sizes, and mounting options make these antennas suitable for air platforms and ground stations. These antenna designs function efficiently to monitor system telemetry over long distances for drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems.

Law Enforcement/Public Safety
Vehicular and Handheld antennas are available for communication, surveillance, signal DF, network repeaters and RF Jamming applications. A single omni or high gain directional ARA antenna may cover all cellular and/or Tetra communication bands and are compatible with all network technologies (GSM, CDMA, etc.). These wideband antennas replace the need for several single band antennas and are ideal for vehicular installations as well as handheld radio mounted applications. Permanent installations, quick deploy magnetic mounts or convenient pistol grips for radio location are available.

Jamming
ARA antennas have been successfully deployed by the US military to combat IED's throughout the world. These antennas cover frequency ranges from 20 MHz to over 6 GHz while providing excellent gain and RF threat spatial coverage.

Test and Measurement/ EMC
ARA offers both outdoor far field range services and indoor anechoic chambers at all of its locations. Outdoor ranges vary from 5,000 ft, 1250 ft, to 300 ft. ARA has forklifts, crane services, and man-lifts to suit your antenna size and weights. Complete RF measurement instrumentation is available for conducting all standard tests up to 40 GHz. RF testing is conducted in accordance with ANS / IEEE Std. 149-1979 "Standard Test Procedures for Antennas."
