    The KOERZIMAT 1.097 HCJ measuring system by FOERSTER facilitates the accurate, automatic, and fast measurement of the coercitivity HcJ. The largely geometry-free measurement is particularly suitable for testing samples with complex shapes. The applications of the Koerzimat include the control of the sintering level and particle size of hard metals and the quality control of metallic powders for the production of magnets and hard metals. The unit can also be used for monitoring the quality of the annealing and the mechanical stress state of soft-magnetic components (SMC) and for controlling electromechanical components in the electronics, automotive, computer, and clock sectors.

    The MAGNETOMAT® 1.782 is a measuring system for the precision detection of magnetic flux density and relative permeability. The MAGNETOMAT software is used for displaying the measured values and saving and exporting data. The wide range of probes facilitates optimal adjustment to the conditions of the application, such as the measurement of relative permeability within the scope of the quality control of stainless steel and low-permeable (non-magnetic) alloys. Further applications include the long-term monitoring of the magnetic environment, e.g. prior to installing magnetically sensitive devices, and the localization of ferrite enclosures in stainless steel and NE materials. Changes in material (sulfidation, degradation of lamination, structural changes) can also be proven thanks to permeability comparative measurements.

    The automatic infrared technology applied by FOERSTER provides new approaches for previously impossible testing tasks. Inductive heat flux thermography facilitates the testing of entire surfaces of hot-rolled steel billets and tubes with round, square, or rectangular cross-sections as well as rails and profiles. Flat surfaces as well as exterior and interior radiuses are tested fully and reproducibly. All but a few millimeters of the ends of the materials are also covered by the surface test.

    The MAGNETOSCOP 1.070 is a portable magnetometer system with microprocessor and probes for measuring the magnetic flux density as an absolute or differential value (gradient). It has a USB port for simple data transfer and an SD card for saving measurement data and parameters. The measuring system also facilitates the recognition and saving of peak values and the adjustment of thresholds for limit values. The unit can be used for series and individual measurements. The data can be easily analyzed and documented with the PC software included in the scope of delivery.     The DEFECTOMAT systems by FOERSTER were specially developed for quality testing and process monitoring of long products. From hot testing to all bright steel processing steps, the surfaces of semi-finished products made from austenitic, (non) ferromagnetic metals can be tested for defects. The DEFECTOMAT systems operate in a contactless and non-destructive manner in accordance with the eddy current method and are used for detecting short defects, such as holes or localized defects and transverse defects. The systems detect defective materials fully automatically and reliably. Defects can be marked, classified, and automatically discarded. the test speed of up to 150 m/s facilitates 100% testing, even at high production speeds. The systems benefit from low operating costs and frugal energy consumption as well as low maintenance costs, few wear parts, and low use of materials.

    The MAGNATEST product family is used for the non-destructive testing of metallic materials for magnetic and/or electrical properties. The test instruments are used in the automotive and aviation sectors as well as in the production of semi-finished products.     The STATOGRAPH product family is used for testing surface cracks with the help of eddy current scanning coils. The units use both fixed and movable probes. The fixed scanning coil scans the surface or sections of a rotating test piece, for instance. The intermittently operating eddy current probe only detects a very small part of the entire surface at any one moment. A minor material defect already produces a large disturbance in proportion to the narrow surface segment scanned by the probe.
