ALMEMO® means one data logger for all measurement - only the sensor needs to be changed. As soon as a sensor is connected, each ALMEMO® measuring instrument or data logger automatically indicates the measuring range and the measured value. When the sensor is changed, no setting is required on the instrument. Any sensor subsequently connected is recognized automatically and the measured value is indicated immediately on the display. Sensors can be changed as and when necessary - even in the course of a measuring operation. It is also possible to store calibration values in the memory chip in the ALMEMO® connector. Subsequent measuring operations can thus be performed with the highest accuracy.

Sensors
A wide range of probes, sensors and signals is available for ALMEMO® data loggers and measuring instruments, which are connected via intelligent connectors with integrated data carrier. For common measuring tasks the connectors are configured at the factory and the measuring device automatically recognizes the connected sensor. All sensors can be calibrated, scaled and provided with a unique designation via the intelligent connectors. The programming always remains with the corresponding sensor, so that it can be connected to any input on the measuring instrument. Inaccuracies of a sensor can be corrected in the connector, thus turning simple sensors into precise transducers.

Data Logger & Measuring Instruments
Data loggers and measuring instruments of the ALMEMO® series were developed for different measuring tasks and a very wide range of applications. The system consists of a data logger or a measuring device and intelligent connectors, which are used to connect the corresponding sensors. On the instrument side, the versions differ only in the number of measurement inputs. Device types ranging from 1-channel transmitters to measurement data acquisition systems with up to 1000 measurement inputs are available.
