CSlaser | CTlaser Series Infrared Thermometer
The infrared thermometers of the optris CSlaser/CTlaser series consist of an innovative double laser sighting, in contrast to many IR thermometers with single lasers which only mark the center of the spot. The two laser beams follow the infrared optical path to mark the position of the measuring field at any distance. At the focus point both lasers are crossing – this greatly supports an exact alignment and reduces measurement errors. The infrared thermometers of this class are mainly used in industrial areas as well as in research and development. Small measurement field sizes are of great importance for precise temperature measurement. A number of different focus versions allow a flexible adjustment for the different applications.

CTratio Series Infrared Thermometer
Due to its short measuring wavelength the ratio pyrometer series optris CTratio is especially suited for measurement of high metal temperatures and the very short response time allows for surveillance of very fast processes. The ratio pyrometer is largely resistant against dust, steam and dirty observation windows. This allows for an accurate measurement in cases of window soiling of up to 90 percent. The pyrometer additionally measures reliably in cases where the measuring object only covers 5 percent of the measuring spot or moves very fast.

CT Series Infrared Thermometer
The pyrometers of the optris CT series are equipped with one of the world’s smallest infrared sensing head with a high optical resolution of up to 75:1. The separate control box offers a high variability due to selectable analog outputs as well as several digital interfaces. The CT sensors have unique advantages for the installation in applications with high surrounding temperatures, such as within the metal, ceramics or glass industry. The robust and ambitious design allows the sensing heads to be used for temperatures up to 250°C without additional cooling. This advantage helps to reduce the costs for mechanical installations. The variety of different available spectral ranges makes the CT the ideal sensor for manifold application fields.

CSvideo | CTvideo | CSvision Series Infrared Thermometer
The video pyrometer series optris CSvideo/CTvideo and the new innovative ratio pyrometer CSvision allow a parallel use of video and crosshair laser aiming for an optimal measuring field adjustment even in processes with limited access. They reliably measure temperatures of metals or ceramics and, due to their short measuring wavelength, reduces measuring errors of surfaces with low or unknown emissivities. The high quality video sighting can show its full advantage together with the software CompactPlus Connect or the IRmobile App on your cell phone with state-of-the-art zoom and image rotation features. The adjustable focus, motorized on CSvision, allows an optimal adaptation to different application and installation demands. As CSvision can measure objects up to 3000 °C a unique two-step brightness reduction filter (BRF) is giving the user a tremendous advantage when aiming on hot and extremely bright objects.
