Ultrafast Laser Pulse Measurement
FROG Scan
Our FROG Scan system is versatile, adaptable and easy to use. With our FROG Scan, you can tweak a laser system or measure highly chirped pulses to calculate the amount of dispersion compensation you might need for recompression. Measure a short pulse that has been chirped out to several picoseconds, or measure pulses as short as 12 fs in real-time.

High-Speed Optical Delay Line
The Peregrine Optical Delay Line (1-cm, 60 ps delay) and the Gyrfalcon Optical Delay Line (2-cm, 120 ps) are high-speed, high precision, voice coil motor optical delay lines. They have zero-backlash and no hysteresis. Both have similar form factors that are compatible with 30-mm cage components and 1.035” – 40 threads. Both include full digital and analog control and include a USB interface.

Autocorrelator
Our autocorrelator is designed for those who do not require the sophisticated pulse characterization provided by our FROG Scan systems. Mesa Photonics' autocorrelators are built around the same advanced servo motor used in our FROG Scan systems and can be upgraded later to a complete FROG Scan or FROG Scan Ultra by purchasing a conversion kit. The servo motor precision corresponds to 1 fs temporal steps.

Ultrafast Laser Pulse Measurement System
FROG Scan Ultra
With a slightly larger format than our high value FROG Scan system, our FROG Scan Ultra platform allows any Ocean Optics spectrometer to be used (including the QE65000 and InGaAs models). This means higher resolution and the availability of InGaAs detectors for your ultrafast laser system. It can measure pulses from nearly 4 ms (custom systems only) to as short as 450 nm.

Optical Delay
ODL
The Peregrine Optical Delay Line (ODL) provides an exceptional combination of precision, speed, and optical stability at a low price. It is ideally suited for pump-probe experiments and autocorrelation measurements (both interferometric and intensity methods). Advanced voice coil technology allows the ODL to be positioned anywhere in its travel range to within 150 nm. That’s 1 fs for a double-pass configuration. The response time is as short as 1 ms. Our 1-cm-travel ODL is interferometrically stable (measured using a 650 nm laser). No backlash, no hysteresis and no drive trains to wear out as with stepper motors. It’s convenient–the ODL can be positioned using digital commands, an analog voltage or a combination of the two. Two 16-bit on-board analog-to-digital converters simplify data collection. Digital inputs and outputs allow master or slave clocking. An executable Windows application is provided to get you up and running in minutes. In addition, DLLs and LabVIEW Vis for integration into your software are also included.
