A dual-stage pushing mechanism will allow performing both, the FCT and the ICT test, without the need of changing the test platform and with a low cost fixturing technology. To do so, the exchangeable cassette fixture must be designed with two-level probes. IN the 6TL24, the second level is reached thanks to a pneumatic actuator.

The YAV90PNE is a complete “plug & play” pneumatics subsystem controlled by CAN, for ATEs with Virginia Panel receiver. Thanks to this module, pneumatics actuators that are commonly used in the fixture side of an ATE, can be controlled. 10 3-way micro-valves are able to contorl 10 simple effect actuators or else 5 double effect ones. The module includes input for the position sensors. A pressure sensor is also included, so that the system air mains working pressure can be set between a minimum and a maximum.

This module, named “6TL-MMI”, is designed to be the interface between an operator and a SYSTEM as well as being a metered power distribution unit (PDU) for it. The module is providing also safety controls, data bus interfaces, temperature control and timers. The 6TL-MMI is suitable for any ATE, and specially for those based on CAN bus controlled devices, because in addition to the above functionalities, this module is also providing galvanic isolation up to 1500V for the CAN bus. This isolation will block potential disturbance towards the DUT.
