Zeus Numerix has its genesis from the IITZeus group at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Bombay. This informal group of faculty, researchers and students was established in the early 1990s to develop surface and mesh generation software for aerospace applications. In 2004, after having contributed to several programmes of national importance, this university group transformed itself into a commercial entity. Under the aegis of SINE and IIT Bombay, Zeus Numerix inherited its vision, values, team and IP. We continue to maintain academic zeal in our methods while growing in size and in our engagements to help customers develop complex engineering systems.

Clean Air Curtain
CAC
Clean Air Curtain (CAC) is a compact tabletop air filter device. It creates an invisible air barrier between two persons to prevent transmission of viruses like Covid-19. Conventional air filters focus only on the quantity of air filtered per hour. However, the high-speed clean air jet of CAC ensures that filtered air also mixes well within the room. Since short-cycling is eliminated, CAC offers a much bigger coverage area. CAC is especially useful for personnel working on shop counters & receptions.

Axial Fan Design Software
FanZ
FanZ designs efficient high aspect ratio blades for axial fans. For the required head & flow conditions, FanZ calculates the span-wise variation of chord length & twist of the most optimal sectional profile. The software also predicts the off-design-performance and structural robustness of the blade. The output is in the form of ready to manufacture DXF format drawing files. More than a dozen customers use FanZ for the design of their cooling tower fans.

RCS Software
CEMExpert
CEMExpert is a software dedicated to the prediction of radar cross-section of aerial and naval targets. The software uses both the high-frequency asymptotic method (PO-PTD) as well as the full-wave equation solver (FVTD). A quick calculation is made possible by automated meshing, scripts for azimuthal scan and parallel processing. The software has been used for improving stealth performance of UAVs, for shape optimization of naval ships and RCS characterization of target missiles.

Dewatering pumps operate occasionally, but when used, they perform critical life-saving operations. They must be easy for carrying & their parts should not deteriorate during long storage. We addressed these vital concerns by developing our dewatering pump using FRP composite material. Our 5 HP pump has the lowest weight in its class, which makes it man-portable. Being in FRP, the pump resists environmental degradation from weathering, corrosion & rot in the long term.
