  • LXI Wideband Modular Matrix

    Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

Pickering's LXI wideband modular matrix offers you a solution that can be easily reconfigured by the removal and insertion of sub-cards. The product is purchased as an assembled chassis, baseboard and the quantity of plugin modules initially required. As your requirements evolve additional modules can be easily fitted and the control software automatically detects the new configuration.

  • 2 Amp PXI Large Matrix Modules

    BRIC™ - Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

Our 2 Amp PXI Large Matrix Modules use high-quality electromechanical relays to achieve their 2A switch rating. The BRIC structure allows the creation of large PXI matrices over multiple slots without the use of expensive external cables. The fully integrated programming interface represents the matrix as a single entity, easing user programming and reducing the likelihood of user errors.

  • 2-Slot USB/LXI Modular Chassis

    60-104-001 - Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

This 2-slot USB/LXI modular chassis offers a small lightweight form factor, making it ideal for portable, benchtop, and space restrictive applications. The chassis is designed for desk or rack mounting and features remote control via USB or LXI Ethernet. Remote control over a network enables the switching function of a test system to be located as close as possible to the target equipment. The 60-104 chassis supports one or two 3U PXI modules and accepts Pickering's PXI products, it is the perfect platform to construct small scale applications. Possible systems include switching matrices up to 1104 crosspoints, 396 channel multiplexer or up to 36 channels of programmable resistor/sensor emulation.

  • Software Capabilities

    Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

In test system development, the best hardware is only usable if its software control environment is robust and easy to use. If you are a test system developer, you need to look at both the hardware and software aspects of your vendors of choice.

  • Surface Mount Reed Relays from Pickering Electronics

    Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

Pickering Electronics Surface Mount Reed Relays contain the highest quality instrumentation grade reed switches making them suitable for the most demanding applications and are suitable for infra-red or vapor phase reflow soldering.

  • Switching System Test Tools

    eBIRST - Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

The eBIRST toolset consists of three different tools that support 200-pin LFH, 78-pin and 50-pin connectors and a set of adaptors that allow connection to other connector types. A supplied application program controls the eBIRST tools via a USB2 port that also provides the tool power and controls the switching system using a Test Definition File to define the test sequence. These tools work by measuring the path resistance at the switching system external connectors using four-wire measurements, quickly establishing whether the path is good, has increased resistance or has failed. Below are links to various eBIRST tool information:

  • Signal Routing Software

Switch Path Manager - Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

Our signal routing software, Switch Path Manager, simplifies signal routing through switching systems and speeds up the development of switching system software. Switch Path Manager supports Pickering''s switching modules and the interconnection between these products. Third-party products can be supported upon request. Once a switching system model has been created, simply defining the endpoints that are required to be connected together can perform signal routing. The ability to automate signal routing results in effective and easy switching system managementsafely and quickly.

  • Simulation Tool

    Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

Would you like to do code development with minimal hardware or see real-time switching and debug information? The LXI Simulation Tool can do that for you. This tool supports the simulation of all our PXI and LXI switching products, and most of the PXI simulation products in one highly portable package. The tool provides you with a simple and highly portable platform for application development.

  • Single 16 to 1 50 600MHz PXI RF Multiplexer

    40-764-001 - Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

This 4 to 1 multiplexer is part of a range of RF multiplexers available in the following configurations: dual, quad and octal 4 to 1, single, dual and quad 8 to 1, single and dual 16 to 1 and single 32 to 1. All multiplexers have the option of automatic terminations which offer advantages at system level by reducing the presence of standing waves in the system which can cause degradation in isolation and crosstalk. These RF multiplexers exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 600MHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design. User connections are made via SMB connectors; you can find the associated RF cable & connector accessories data sheet under the downloads tab above.
