Modern lightwave transmission systems require accurate and repeatable characterization of their optoelectronic, optical and electrical components to guarantee high-speed performance.
The Lightwave Component Analyzer is the instrument of choice to test all relevant opto-electronic S-parameters, like S21, S11 and S22 for electro-optical components in 10Gb/s and 40Gb/s, Fibre Channel and CATV transmission systems as well as radio-over-fiber and A&D applications.
Keysight's 81490A reference transmitter is optimized to offer excellent eye quality as a reference for testing 10 GbE-LR, -ER, -SR according to IEEE 802.3ae, 100GBASE-LR4,-ER4,-SR4 according to IEEE 802.3bs and according to 10/16 G FC Fibre Channel specifications. With the integration into the Keysight LMS platform it offers seamless operation with the N4917A/B optical receiver stress test solution.
Keysight's 81491A Reference Transmitter is designed to offer excellent eye quality for NRZ and PAM4 signals at baud-rates up to 32Gbaud and can serve as universal E/O converter. It comes in Multimode (MM) and Single-Mode (SM) flavors and includes internal lasers at 850nm (MM) or 1310&1550nm (SM). External optical input for usage with tunable laser sources is available for SM option. It is fully integrated into Keysight’s Optical Receiver Stress Test solutions to address test requirements of IEEE 802.3 10,40,100 and 400GBASE optical standards.
Keysight's 81492A Reference Transmitter is designed to offer excellent eye quality for NRZ and PAM4 signals at baud-rates up to 56 Gbaud and can serve as universal single-mode E/O converter. In addition to the internal lasers at 1310 & 1550 nm, an external optical input for usage with tunable laser sources is available. It is fully integrated into Keysight’s Optical Receiver Stress Test solutions to address test requirements of IEEE 802.3 10,40,100 and 400GBASE optical standards.
