Rain Gauge

The Teledyne ISCO 674 Rain Gauge is a precision instrument that uses a tipping bucket design for accurate rainfall measurement. It has an 8 inch diameter orifice and is factory-calibrated to tip at either 0.01 inch or 0.1 mm of rainfall. With a 674 Rain Gauge connected, a Teledyne ISCO flowmeter or sampler will:- Plot graphs and print reports of rainfall data on the flowmeter’s built-in printer- Store rainfall data in internal memory for retrieval and analysis with - Teledyne ISCO Flowlink® Software- Activate sampling based on rainfall

Sample Bags
ProPak
These convenient, single-use sample bags bring a new dimension of productivity to your water and wastewater sampling. Using the patented Teledyne ISCO ProPak® sample bag will reduce your sampling costs by eliminating the expense of washing and storing conventional bottles while, at the same time, eliminating worries about contamination from previous samples. For SW846 trace metals analysis, testing shows that ProPaks yielded results equivalent to glass bottles in all categories except mercury. Teledyne ISCO’s 1000 mL ProPak sample bags work in any application where you currently use 1000 mL wedge-shaped plastic bottles. The 2-gallon ProPak bags – used as liners for a special 2.5 gallon bottle - are ideal for composite sampling.

Suspension Bracket
ProHanger
The ProHanger™ is designed to provide an easy, secure means of suspending down-hole equipment, eliminating the need to enter a manhole. It’s easily adjustable, and features double wingscrew locks. The low-profile tabs allow manhole covers to be set back in place while remaining flush with the surface. We also offer stainless steel suspension harnesses for Teledyne ISCO portable samplers. The harness clips directly to the ProHanger, making sampler placement quick and convenient.

Flow-Through Sample Chamber
The Teledyne ISCO high temperature flow-through chamber makes "dipper" type samplers obsolete, and is ideal for large treatment plants with multiple sampling points spread over a large area. This device allows you to eliminate time-consuming trips to retrieve samples from remote monitoring points. By installing flow-through chambers on transfer lines from monitoring points within your plant, you can collect all your samples in one convenient, central, sheltered location. With the “stinger” probe, samples are always collected from the middle of the flow stream, allowing you to use a much stronger pump to circulate the sample to the chamber. The Teledyne ISCO flow chamber can accommodate flows of up to 150 GPM (6.3 liters/second). By increasing the flow rate, you reduce maintenance and cleaning - and there’s no flow stoppage as required with a dipper sampler and weir structure.

Pressurized Line Accessory
For Teledyne ISCO 6712, BLZZRD, Avalanche, and 5800This accessory was developed to allow sampling from liquid sources with pressure ratings between 10 and 300 psi. Initially, a stainless steel pressure reduction valve decreases source pressure to an acceptable level (10 psi). Special software (required as an option for 6712, BLZZRD and Avalanche samplers), activates an electric ball valve – via the valve interface – directing liquid to the collection bottle during forward pumping. The ball valve also allows any liquid remaining in the section of line between the ball valve and the sampler to be purged prior to the next sample being drawn. Note: Photo shows purge line lower than desired. Optimum purging occurs when sampler outlet is higher than connection to valve.

CDMA Cellular Modem for 6700 Series Samplers
CDMA communication enables alarms, data retrieval, and sampler control for remote sites.Teledyne ISCO 6712 portable samplers are often deployed in locations that lack utility lines. This cellular modem provides wireless digital communication, reducing the need for costly trips to monitoring sites that are distant and/or difficult to get to, including rural watersheds as well as manholes in high-traffic urban arterials. It allows the sampler to transmit text message alarms to a text-enabled phone or pager, and to communicate with a modem-equipped PC for remote data retrieval and control. The modem is compatible with user-subscribed CDMA digital cell phone service such as Verizon, and Telus (Canada). CDMA service is available throughout most of North America, and many other parts of the world.

GSM communication with remote sites - for alarms, data retrieval, and sampler controlThis digital cellular phone modem enables Teledyne ISCO 6712 samplers (including Avalanche® models) to transmit text message alarms to a text-enabled phone or pager. It also allows the sampler to communicate with a modem-equipped PC for remote data retrieval and control. The modem is compatible with user-subscribed GSM digital cell phone service (such as ATT/Cingular, T-Mobile, and Vodaphone). GSM service is available throughout most of Europe, and is increasingly available in many other parts of the world. Your GSM subscription parameters are contained on a SIM card that you install in the modem. You can change your service parameters – or provider – by replacing the SIM card.
