Each of our RF & Microwave matrices is designed to have a controlled transmission line impedance and architecture developed
to maximize the bandwidth of the product. The RF matrices are designed with crosspoint switch systems interlinked with
isolation relays and loop-thru connections to minimize stub loading of the matrix. The mechanical and electrical freedom
of LXI allows us to design RF and Microwave matrices to suit most applications.

LXI Wideband Scalable RF Matrix
Pickering's LXI wideband scalable matrix (model 65-110A) offers you a solution that can be easily reconfigured by the removal and insertion of sub-cards. The product is purchased as an assembled chassis, baseboard and the quantity of plugin modules initially required. As your requirements evolve additional modules can be easily fitted and the control software automatically detects the new configuration.

LXI 50Ω RF Matrix - 2.4GHz
Pickering's LXI 50Ω RF Matrix - 2.4GHz design permits any single Y input to be connected to any single X input, permitting the concurrent connection of 16 RF paths. All signal paths are bi-directional permitting any connection to be used as an input or an output. These matrices can be supplied in a variety of configurations based on Y axis sizes of 4, 8 and 16 and X axis sizes up to 32. The smaller matrix sizes in the range are factory reconfigurable up to the maximum size.

LXI 75Ω RF Matrix - 1GHz
The design is fully scalable, allowing a variety of matrix sizes to be offered in a single family. It maintains a close path loss match for all routes through the matrix, minimizing the calibration effort that has to be invested by users in optimizing their test system performance. The design is non-blocking Y to X (or X to Y) allowing any input to be connected to any output. The construction is based on high quality electromechanical relays which provide a fast operating time compared to microwave relays.

They have an impedance of 50 and uses SMB signal connectors or with a larger case size is uses BNC connectors. This HF matrix is designed to provide a simple and scalable bidirectional matrix for radio frequencies and is intended for the easy construction of high performance bidirectional matrix switching systems.

They have a characteristic impedance of 75 with the option of mini SMB or MCX connectors, or with a larger case size BNC connectors. Designed to provide a simple and scalable bidirectional matrix for video frequencies and is intended for the easy construction of high-performance bidirectional matrix switching systems.
