The 482C series comprises 4-channel benchtop signal conditioners, while the 483C series offers 8-channel rack-mounted units. Utilizing identical signal conditioning electronics across equivalent 4 and 8-channel models ensures consistent performance. Both signal conditioner series offer standalone units with essential functionalities, as well as units equipped with advanced features like a front panel keypad and display or an Ethernet port for computer control. Additional features encompass gain adjustment, filtering options, LED fault indicators, and TEDS capability.

In-line ICP® Charge Converters
In-line ICP® charge converters play a vital role in converting high impedance charge mode piezoelectric sensor signals into low impedance voltage signals, facilitating input to readout, recording, and analysis instruments. Specifically engineered for compatibility with high temperature piezoelectric sensors, these units are capable of operation in environments reaching up to 500°F (260°C). The series boasts ±2.5V or ±5.0 V output, offering a range of gain options, all packaged within a compact and durable casing. Dual-Mode Charge Amplifiers
Dual-mode charge amplifiers represent a versatile solution for both piezoelectric charge mode and ICP® sensors. Among the advanced features offered by models 443B01, 443B02 and 2775C are an ultra-low noise floor, sensor fault detection, overload detection, a built-in calibration reference signal, and an RS-232 port for seamless computer control. Notably, model 443B02 features a long discharge time constant selection, ideal for capturing quasi-static events lasting several seconds, a capability particularly beneficial for ballistics and ammunition testing applications. Model 2775C features AC, DC, and servo outputs.

The Digital ICP®-USB Signal Conditioner, Model 485B39, offers plug-and-play connectivity for your measurements. Model 485B39 from The Modal Shop, a wholly owned subsidiary of PCB Piezotronics, is a pocket-sized, dual-channel ICP to USB digital signal conditioner. The unit provides any ICP sensor – accelerometers, microphones, impact hammers, laser tachometers, and more – with a digital USB output. It is truly plug-and-play, with no drivers required. Digital ICP features two BNC inputs and a 24-bit USB digital signal output, allowing a direct connection from the sensor to any PC, tablet, or smartphone device for easy data collection, analysis, and sharing on-the-go.
