Receivers and ITAs are the primary building blocks of an interconnect solution. Determining the amount of Input/Output (I/O) needed is one of the first steps required when designing a system.
The Slide Kits for the S6, G12, and G12x allow access to test instrumentation and wiring. Multiple accessories are available for this configuration such as the Cable Tray, the Keyboard Tray Kit, and Adjustable Leg Kit. Slides can support fixture weights up to 180 lbs [81.65 Kg] and up to 350 lbs [158.76 Kg] with legs
The iDock Series is a series of connectors ideal for use with automatic machine handlers in production testing. Floating bushings allow up to .04" of re-alignment. Use with a combination of various I/O modules and a max of 5,952 signal contacts simultaneously. The iDock series is rated up to 100,000 cycles.
VPC has specific extraction tools designed for each type of contact. Consult the procedure sheets on this page for detailed instructions on each tool's use. Correct tool use is crucial to prevent damage to contacts and modules.
VPC offers several slide kits that are required for all VPC slide mount receivers. Slide kits are sold by length and length is decided by the depth of the individual test rack. Rack extender kits are available for certain slide kits and receivers. Please note, not all slide kit lengths are appropriate for all receivers. For more information, please consult the individual receiver user manual.
Interconnect Adapters funnel wiring from modules to a VXI card. The adapter has removable side, top and bottom plates. Connector cover plates and cable clamps are ordered separately.VPC VXI adapters have been re-engineered to eliminate the need for punching holes in certain manufacturers cards. This design uses a clip that clamps down on the card's existing ejector tabs which firmly fastens the adapter to the card.
Extraction kit includes holder and (3) extraction tools that may be used as a single unit or grouped together in units of 2 or 3, depending on the number of VTAC inserts needing to be extracted.
