This unit simply plugs into your car's cigarette lighter socket and will present you with alternator and battery status. On the left side is the alternator status indicating if it's charging the battery at too high a voltage, normal or too low. On the right is the battery status green LED charged 12.4-12.6V, yellow LED recharge 11.8-12.35V, and red LED dead<11.75V indicators.
