The polyurethane jacketed versions of our already proven cable assemblies deliver new engineering options to standard FEP jacketed cables.
Polyurethane offers greater memory retention than a similar size cable jacketed with FEP. This feature offers the benefit of minimizing stress and torque applied to interface connections, such as those on a circuit board.
It also allows cable to better maintain position in an installation where the "spring back" of an FEP jacketed cable could be problematic.
Additionally, a polyurethane jacket offers improved abrasion resistance over an FEP jacket.
