Electrical Safety Testing
Manufacturers and operators of electrical equipment are required to carry out an electrical safety test within the framework of the applicable regulations. This is to prevent accidents caused by malfunctions in electrical equipment, such as fire, explosion as well as injuries and personal damage. The tests to be carried out are specified in national (VDE/DIN) and international (EN/IEC) standards. After passing the test, the product is considered safe for the entire life cycle, provided it is left in its original condition and used for its intended purpose.
