RS-5.4Kh towing dynamometer is designed for testing today’s compact cars. The RS-5.4Kh is built with an all-aluminum frame, aerodynamic body and rides on a coil over suspension. The RS-5.4Kh uses hydraulics for power absorption instead of an eddy current absorber. This technology allows the RS-5.4Kh to continuously absorb power without fade and eliminates the need for batteries to power the system.

The RS-8K is powered by an industrial generator, so unlike battery/alternator Towing Dynamometers, there are no lead-acid batteries to charge and testing time is unlimited at low speeds.
