Teledyne e2v has been trusted to design and deliver CCD and CMOS imaging sensors and sub-systems for over 150 space missions by the world's largest space agencies, including NASA, ESA, JAXA, CNSA and most recently for the Russian-led World Space Observatory.We offer space imaging solutions, including space qualified imaging sensors, arrays and sub-systems for space science, ground astronomy and Earth observation; helping solve the mysteries of the Universe and understand climate change on Earth.

Teledyne e2v has over 35 years of experience in the medical field and offers medical devices companies a range of CCD and CMOS image sensor solutions and services. We understand the challenges facing the healthcare landscape (including ageing populations and the management of healthcare spending), and through close partnerships with our suppliers, are able to offer customers agility and flexibility over our entire supply chain. This enables us to provide our customers with a fully comprehensive digital imaging solution. We also produce and sell an X-ray intra-oral dental product named Demoniac, which is compliant with ISO 13485.

Imaging Modules
Teledyne e2v has developed compact MIPI modules which feature our own high performance CMOS image sensors inside a pre-focused, industrial-grade scanning optic. As a turnkey sensor/optics for imaging systems, these modules offers customers significant reduction in development time and cost savings. Only a few screws are needed to mount the module, with simple connection to the image processing system through an FPC cable connector. Software development efforts can also be reduced by using some limited API-layer Linux software drivers. This enables the module to be seamlessly interfaced to popular ISP platforms.

OctoPlus Range
Teledyne e2v spent 2 years developing a CMOS sensor specifically for OCT. This resulted in the launch of OctoPlus, which has a specially designed pixel architecture that improves sensitivity and reduces signal roll-off to improve image quality by several dB vs state-of-the-art CMOS cameras, especially in deep structures.
