High performance and expandable, the second generation S2084B offers a tremendously flexible architecture for high density 19" rack mounted switching configurations. A total of twenty rear-facing module slots are available to install a growing number module types. Various types of inner backplane configurations are used to deliver a total system configuration by interconnecting the modules internally through the backplane.
