Different from a conventional partial discharge
measuring set provided with a fixed testing
frequency, Model DAC-PD-5 is newly designed to
select the center and the bandwidth of testing
frequencies so that partial discharges emitting in an
optional frequency in the range of a specified
bandwidth can be detected. Generally, partial
discharges are measured in a wide band frequency
though; the detecting sensitivity must be lowered in
order to detect partial discharges partially.
DAC-PD-5 has a wider bandwidth and can measure
partial discharges in a high sensitivity by bypassing
noises emitting bands.
