Model 8696, platinum RTD probe is designed for measuring air and other gaseous mediums. The sheath is 8" long and is constructed with #304 stainless steel. The probe tip is protected from temperature fluctuations by a perforated shield. The probe''s 4-inch handle is connected to a thermoplastic coil cord that extends from 1-1/2 feet to 5 feet.
