Computer Conversions Corporation
The SR Series are miniature, low cost AC reference generators designed to supply 26 or 115 Volt excitation to Synchros or resolvers in military and industrial control applications. They accept +/- 15V DC and provide up to 5VA of transformer isolated output power. These converters are packaged in PC card mounting modules 2.6" x 3.1" x 1"H.

Bloomy Controls, Inc.
Bloomy's VDT/Resolver Simulation Module offers eight channels of variable differential transformer (VDT) sensor simulation at an unmatched price point. Its highly-flexible nature allows each channel to be configured independently for simulation of a linear variable differential transformer (LVDT), a rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT), or a resolver. Versatile, separate E1 and E2 returns allow each channel to be connected in a 4-, 5- or 6-wire configuration. The included VeriStand SLSC driver also allows each channel to simulate two 4-wire sensors where shared excitation is acceptable.

SSP -
Computer Conversions Corporation
The SSP Series are Compact, Reference Powered and Isolated Synchro Power Amplifiers, and AC Sine/Cosine ( Resolver ) to synchro converters; designed for moderate wattage, and re-transmission requirements; providing ultra high efficiency, and ultra high reliability in service, and ease of use. They are ideally suited for demanding Naval/Maritime, Aircraft, and Radar/Antenna related, applications. They are commonly used on synchro based data transmission, retransmission, simulation, and active control systems. They are suitable to drive both CT and CDX type passive loads, and virtually any synchro input instrumentation, or control.

TA-2000 -
Tech-Aid Products
The TA-2000 test fixture is a combination panel that incorporates all the standard capabilities of the legacy CTS-11(ADI) and CTS-12(HSI) panels and much more. This panel is married to our model TA-1001 dual synchro transmitter/API panel thus allowing for local stimulus and alignment of the instruments synchros and resolvers. The panel provides for testing of both superflag(28v) and low level meters through a matrix of switching that will allow testing of all meters simultaneously or just individually. The low level meter drive circuit also incorporates an automatic mode that will continuously oscillate the L/R and Up/Dn pointers.

1U647-001 -
Sigma Tek, Inc.
The 1U647-001 is a low cost calibration standard used to determine if a 1U632-100 or a 1U663-100 DMU requires factory calibration. Its portability makes it ideal for field-testing. The standard generates signals that simulate the aircraft’s resolvers, rotary variable transformers (RVTs), and linear variable displacement transformers (LVDTs). The unit also generates a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal, and routes the output of an ARINC 429 source to the different DMU input channels. The calibration standard connects directly to the DMU and replaces the output signals of an active extender card. Discrete switch settings simplify testing. The unit is housed in a rugged aluminum case.

Teledyne Defence & Space
Teledyne Defence & Space’s Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (IFM) module, also known as a Digital Frequency Discriminator (DFD), offers high speed frequency measurement across the full operating bandwidth. The IFM measures the frequency of RF signal present at its input and presents a result at its output as digital data. The RF input signal is conditioned by an RF amplifier that provides sufficient drive for the frequency resolving circuits. The raw video from the resolvers is digitised and processed into the required output format. There is additional timing and control circuitry which initiates the measurement process and provides handshake data to the host system processor.

TA-552 -
Tech-Aid Products
This test fixture provides the necessary panel controls, switching and cable pin-outs required to test the KPI-552/KPI-553/A series of HSI's as described in their respective maintenance manuals. This fixture will serve as the "Instrument Bench Tester" and does have the required differential resolvers and relay switching. Panel jacks are provided for the Heading, Course, RMI and ADF synchro sources that are external to this fixture. The use of external synchro sources serves to minimize the cost of this panel. Additional items incorporated on the panel are test jacks to monitor the meter drive voltage and current as well as a momentary switch to open the meter drive and this serves to verify sticky meter stops. The fixtures rear panel provides for all power inputs as well as an I/O connector if the shop desires to interface an external synchro panel.
