DV Power circuit breaker analyzer and timer utilizes the latest technological enhancements for safe and fast testing of circuit breakers. The sophisticated design ensures efficient and reliable operations in high-voltage substations and industrial environments.The CAT Advanced series are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for a circuit breaker testing. The timing channels record closing and an opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. Also, the main contact channels can measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker).With CAT Advanced series instruments, it is possible to record graphs of open and close coil currents. Furthermore, it records displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. Test results can be saved via USB, PC or be printed via 112 mm (4.4 inches) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form.A circuit breaker test consists of different operational modes and CAT Advanced series supports:Open (O)Close (C)Reclose (O-0,3s-C)Trip free (CO)O-0,3s-COOpen-Close (O-C)Close-Open (C-O)Open-Close-Open (O-C-O)First trip (O)Multiple operations, such as Open-Close and Open-Close-Open, can be initiated by using a predefined delay time or by sensing a breaker’s contact position.The auxiliary inputs are used to monitor dry and wet auxiliary contacts. The six coil control analog channels measure and record coil currents simultaneously (OPEN and CLOSE), up to 35 A AC/DC.The additional six voltage analog channels have four selectable voltage ranges available (±1 V, ±5 V, ±60 V and ±300 V AC/DC).A built-in micro-ohmmeter generates up to 500A true DC ripple-free current with an automatically regulated test ramp that provides performing static and dynamic contact resistance measurement.Three transducer channels provide a measuring displacement of the circuit breaker moving parts, contact wipe, over-travel, rebound, damping time and average velocity. Also, a user can connect either an analog or a digital transducer to these universal channels.

The RMO-H is battery operated and handheld micro-ohmmeter. It is designed for a variety of applications for contact resistance measurement of non-inductive test objects. Typical applications are accurate testing of:medium and high-voltage circuit breakers,disconnecting switches,high-current bus bar joints,cable splices,and different high-current links.Even more, it accurately measures in high-induction filed environments and substations, as well as in factory testing.RMO-H Series contains six models in total, divided in 2 sub-series depending on the test leads length requirement and the battery type:RMO-H1, RMO-H2 and RMO-H3 models are intended for use with short cables (e.g. 1,3 m / 3 m / 5 m). The 1-cell Li-Po battery with 8200 mAh capacity provides output voltage up to 4,1 V DC.RMO-H21, RMO-H22 and RMO-H23 models are ideal for applications where test leads with lengths > 5 m are required. The high output voltage (up to 8,3 V DC) is provided by 2-cells 4100 mAh Li-Po battery.The test current is regulated and can be selected in a range of 1 A to maximum 300 A, depending on the maximum test current rating:RMO-H1, RMO-H21 models – up to 100 A DCRMO-H2, RMO-H22 models – up to 220 A DCRMO-H3, RMO-H23 models – up to 300 A DC.Unlike many other handheld micro-ohmmeters available on the market, our instruments have regulated and user-selectable test currents. The maximum value of the output current of each module is limited to the rated output current 105%, in this range, the output current value of the module is continuously adjustable. If the load output of the module, the module will play down the output voltage.Output short-circuit protectionWhen short circuit, the output voltage drops to 0 immediately. Limit the short circuit current under 15% of rated output current. The module will not be damaged under short circuit state for a time, and resumes to work automatically after debugging. Module parallel protectionThere is parallel protection circuit in each module to ensure that when the fault module quits the system, the normal work of other modules and the system won’t be effect.Output over-current protectionThe output current cannot increase infinitely. If overloaded, the output voltage decreases automatically to protect the power components. The over current protection can be resumed automatically.
