Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
Pickering's range of medium density switch matrix modules is a cost-effective solution for applications that require mid-range matrices in the PXI format. Selected modules are supported by our Diagnostic Test Tools, Built-In-Relay-Self-Test (BIRST) and eBIRST Switching System Test Tools, these tools provide a quick and simple way of finding relay failures within LXI, PCI and PXI switch systems.

CXAR Series -
Cytec Corp.
CXAR products are 50 or 75 ohm coax switch modules with mechanical or solid state switches. They can be configured to drive from 16 to 256 switch points and are intended to be used for signal from DC to 2.5 GHz depending on the configuration. Most of the modules used in these systems are 1xN multiplexers that can be combined to form larger multiplexers or matrices. Control options include 10/100BaseT Ethernet LAN, RS232, GPIB or optional manual control. There are four different types of switch modules available:
-
Corry Micronics Inc.
Switch Matrices are offered in Blocking, Non-Blocking, and Super Non-Blocking configurations in mechanical housing packages of 1U-10U. Completely customizable control (USB, 10/100 Base-T) and expandable in blocks of 8 by 8 and 64 by 64 in a single unit, multiple units up to 256 by 256.

LPSU series -
AWT Global
LPSU series high power, low PIM switch units combine 65 low PIM ports or 14 low PIM ports. These switch matrices are designed in testing situations that require multi-band PIM sources, components or antennas. Combinations of multi-band PIMtesting are now easily possible, improving workflow significantly. LPSUs can be integrated in existing production control systems. Frequency range 698-2700 MHz.

Pickering's PXI Microwave Switch Modules vary from simple multiplexer and switch configurations to integrated matrices and large multiplexers. Most products are characterized for 50 operation however certain 75 versions are supplied either as standard or custom products. Remote versions occupy a single PXI slot with the microwave switches mounted separately from the host chassis, connection to the module is via a supplied control cable.

Keysight Technologies
The 34980A matrix modules are full cross-point matrices allowing you to connect any row to any column in the same instance. This is a convenient way to connect multiple test instrument points to multiple points on a device under test. All matrix modules also include a relay switch counter to help predict when relays need to be replaced.

BRICâ„¢ -
Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
Our 2 Amp PXI Large Matrix Modules use high-quality electromechanical relays to achieve their 2A switch rating. The BRIC structure allows the creation of large PXI matrices over multiple slots without the use of expensive external cables. The fully integrated programming interface represents the matrix as a single entity, easing user programming and reducing the likelihood of user errors.

RSM/128-MF -
Cytec Corp.
These Chassis controls up to 16 8x1 modules, 32 4x1 modules or any combination or configuration such as a 16x8 matrix, 32x4 matrix or two 16x4 matrices. Matrix configurations are non-blocking and physical layer switches act like a cable connection with D connectors creating a one to one connection between D9, D15 or D25 connectors. All wires are switched as a group on each connector for easy programming. LEDs on the front panel show switch and power status. Add Switch Modules, Driver Modules and a Control Module to complete the system.

JX Series -
Cytec Corp.
This compact and economically priced series can be used as either 1xN multiplexers, 2xN matrices, or individual switches. As multiplexers, they can be used as a large number of individual muxes or jumpered together to form as large a mux as you need to switch a large number of inputs or outputs to one common port. As a 2xN matrix they allow you to switch any number of signals between two ports of a DVM, DMM, LCR, or other type of meter or supply. Individual relay modules are available for other configurations requiring discrete SPST or SPDT relays with standard or power relays.
