The 751 is a family of CAEN Waveform Digitizer able to perform basic waveform recording and run online advanced algorithms (DPP) of charge integration and pulse shape discrimination with constant fraction timing and zero-length encoding. Data is read by a Flash ADC, 10-bit resolution and 1GS/s sampling rate (2GS/s using half of the channels in DES mode), which is well suited for fast signals as the ones coming from fast organic, inorganic and liquid scintillators coupled to PMTs or Silicon Photomultipliers, Diamond detectors and others. The acquisitioncan be channel independent and it is possible to make coincidence/ anti-coincidence logic among diferent channels and external veto/ gating. Among other things, solar array simulators are required for testing satellite power supplies. An SAS (Solar Array Simulator), consisting of an interconnection of several Solar Array Simulator modules, maps the solar panels and displays the individual strings connected in parallel. Optionally, the individual SAS modules are monitored by a Second Level Protection, so that the test object is not damaged in case of errors with the voltage sources. Additional circuitry is implemented via project-specific test modules. The signal path to the DUT can be separated, e.g. for dynamic current measurements.The Keysight Solar Array Simulators used were specially developed for satellite applications and cover the significantly higher requirements regarding the control speed of MPP tracking compared to terrestrial applications.

The HV test hood according to Performance Level e (ISO 13849-1), developed by us according to the EN50191 standard (erection and operation of fixed and temporary electrical test installations), offers the highest safety for the operator. The large test chamber is enclosed with a hood made of sturdy, highly insulating and transparent plastic. During the test, there is a clear view of the test specimen. A signal light visually indicates safe opening when the light is “green”. “Red light” symbolises danger, the hood cannot be opened due to the safety interlock. The safety switch also ensures that the hood cannot be opened during the test. This means that the test hood fulfils all the required specifications for compulsory contact protection.

For all RCT1A/RCT models, a NIST, NAVLAP, NPL (UKAS) factory traceable calibration certificate and certificate of conformance is supplied. UL/CSA approved materials are used throughout. Three phase and single phase flexible AC current sensors (rope sensors) are available for fast installation in confined spaces, eliminating the need for Electrical Supply Shutdown. Available outputs are 1A @ 2.5VA and 5A @ 0.5VA, this means long cable lengths from current sensor to signal conditioner allow these low VA ratings to be used, even when feeder cable to energy meter distances are large (up to 98 feet / 30 meters)
