  • Debug Fixture

    IST Engineering, INC.

With at-speed test, debug can easily become a problem: If test points are on the bottom, as is often the case for test processing, then this requires the board to be flip over for the debug. However, during at-speed testing, key devices and signal paths are often on the topside. IST Engineering has in-house expertise with debug fixtures, which allow the test technician to flip over a test board, or even hold it vertically for dual-sided access, while still running the Device-Under-Test at full-speed through card-edge connectors - whether these are standard DIN type or F or N type co-ax connectors. The debug stations are constructed robustly, with metal frames and high-grade flexible cabling and can also be used as backup test stations in a manufacturing flow. They can be built with custom machined waveguide connections for RF/Microwave applications, or with standard, off the shelf connectors, as defined by the application. A number of these debug fixtures are in production use with a range of customers.

  • 1x4 Switch

    S-104 - Notice

1 X 4 Switch slot module of FOTS system carries out the switching function that enables a single channel input to go to any of 4 outputs or a selected particular channel of 4 inputs to go to a single channel output. And its MEMS type switch module is bidirectional and transparent to signal format. It is remarkable that high speed switching and various driving program such as timed, manual or sequential switching mode are available through the combination of high speed response time switch and high speed FPGA processor. On the basis of less than 1ms switching time and 10ms minimum switching, high speed sequential switching can be installed easily by defining switching order, interval time and duration. Current switching channel status can be checked through LED fronted with slot, and present driving condition of optical switch can also be monitored through GOI or LCD monitor.

  • Transmission Line Probes

    Teledyne LeCroy

Transmission line probes are a special type of passive probe designed for use at very high frequencies. They replace the high impedance probe cable found in a traditional passive probe with a precision transmission line, with a characteristic impedance that matches the oscilloscope input (50 Ohm). This greatly reduces the input capacitance to a fraction of a picofarad, minimizing the loading of high frequency signals. A matching network at the tip increases the DC input resistance. While they have lower DC input resistance than a traditional passive probe (usually 500 Ohm) to 1kOhm), the input impedance of these probes remains nearly constant over their entire frequency range. A traditional /10 passive probe will have a 10 MOhm) input impedance at DC, however this impedance drops rapidly with frequency, passing below the input impedance of a transmission line probe at less than 100 MHz.

  • Chamber/Pyroelectric Task

    Radiant Technologies, Inc.

Radiant's Chamber/Pyroelectric Task sets the sample to a series of temperatures by performingGPIB control of an external thermal device. At each temperature it captures the sample’s polarization response and/or small-signalcapacitance. These are combined to calculate the pyroelectric coefficient.  The Pyroelectric Task is to be used with a Radiant Test System and a Linkam Stage (-196C to 600C), Thermal Chambers, Hot Chucks, or a Furnace to automatically measure the Pulse Polarization response and Small Signal Capacitance of a Pyroelectric material that is being heated and/or cooled.  Radiant's Pyroelectric measurement Task can be added to Vision at additional cost.  This measurement suite fully characterizes the pyroelectric charge (polarization) response of the sample under test.  The Pyroelectric Task suite controls various thermal controllers such as Quantum Design, Lake Shore, Delta Design, and many others. Detailed Listing of Thermal Controllers Registered in Vision.   The Chamber/Pyroelectric Task is quoted upon request.

  • Reconfigurable Filter Bank

    BSC Filters

BSC have independently developed a fully reconfigurable adaptive filter solution, designed for fast & seamless switching into any of 256 filter states across the 2-18 GHz range.  Ideally suited to EW front-end preselection or protection, any combination of bandpass and bandstop states can be selected INTRODUCTION.  Each 2 GHz channel can be switched in (bandpass) and out (bandstop) of the signal path with a switching time of less than 100 ns. DC power and 8-bit TTL control is supplied through a standard 15-pin MDM connector. In the crowded spectrum of the future, front-end flexibility is of increasing importance. Not limited to 2-18 GHz or equal channel widths, the same core architecture may be used in more specific bands, for example at VHF/UHF frequencies. This makes the system equally as suited to EW as it is to Mil Comms applications, where sampling sensitivity or frequency-agile protocols respectively are key to system function.

  • Solution for High Density I/O Applications

    BitBox - BitFlow, Inc.

The BitBox is BitFlow''s new solution for high density I/O applications. Many machine makers require a large number of computer managed I/O signals for continuous control of the system state. This means controlling devices such strobes, solenoids, actuators, indicators etc. as well as gathering inputs from photo-detectors, switches, encoders and triggers. In general, BitFlow frame grabbers come with a fairly large number of inputs and outputs, but for some system this is simply not enough. Most customers end up purchasing another device to manage the I/O, which adds expense, requires another slot, another driver and SDK, another manual, etc. The BitBox has been designed for just this situation. It is controlled completely from the frame grabber, uses the same API, driver and manuals as the frame grabber. This saves time, money, space, and learning curve.

For this reason, these horns are also referred to as standard gain horns. The listed models offer 23 dB nominal gain, 10/11 degrees typical half power beamwidth and 14 dB/30 dB typical side lobe levels at the center frequency of the band. These horns cover full waveguide bandwidths within the frequency range of 8.2 to 170 GHz. In addition to the models listed below, models with 10, 15, 20 and 25 dB gain and other frequency bands are also available.

  • Bench PIM Tester - iBA series

    iBA - Kaelus

Passive Intermodulation (PIM) occurs when multiple RF signals encounter defects in materials or workmanship in an RF path. These defects behave like a mixer causing noise to be generated at mathematical combinations of the original carrier frequencies. PIM interference that falls in the receive band of a wireless system elevates the noise floor resulting in high dropped call rates, call blocking, slow data transmission speeds and decreased system capacity.Kaelus is the industry leader in Passive Intermodulation test solutions. Since 1996 Kaelus has supplied RF equipment manufacturers around the world with precision IEC compliant test equipment to perform this critical test. From initial product design through high-volume manufacturing, Kaelus offers a wide range of PIM test solutions that enable equipment manufacturers to quickly and confidently verify the performance of their products.
