Teledyne Defence & Space
Teledyne Defence & Space’s (TDS) patented designs have produced many different types of filters incorporating switches. These are all generally wideband for Electronic Warfare applications and enable the control of the frequency spectrum into any given system. These units, also known as Switch Multiplexers, are configured with a single or multiple inputs to single or multiple filtered outputs. As an example, the SA002 features 8 channels switchable over the frequency range 2-18 GHz while the SA004 offers 17 channels over the 0.5-18GHz bandwidth. Each provides the user with a fast, flexible, filter network capable of providing different band-pass or band-stop responses on a pulse-by-pulse basis in dense signal environments.

Microflown AVISA B.V.
In a peer to peer conflict, weapon location radars used for counter battery purposes will be extremely vulnerable. With aerial/satellite based surveillance available for the opponent, radars will be seen. With electronic warfare means being omnipresent, radars will be triangulated and jammed. There is an urgent need for 24/7 persistent surveillance with (preferably) passive sensors. With mobility being the key for survival on the battlefield, rapid re-deployable, or even truly mobile sensor capabilities are required. Therefore, the traditional sheer sound pressure based sound ranging capability becomes obsolete, as the triangular footprint of the sensor nodes is too large to be installed on a manned, or unmanned platform. With the trend towards longer ranges and “shoot and scoot” drills, the concept of capturing the muzzle blast noise becomes questionable, as the speed of sound is too slow to provide timely localizations.

Fairview Microwave Inc.
The new MMIC IQ mixers from Fairview (also known as IQ modulators) utilize a highly reliable GaAs MESFET semiconductor process which integrates a pair of matched double balanced mixer cells, a 90-degree hybrid and a 0-degree splitter/combiner that produces exceptional amplitude and phase balance performance. This level of integration offers size and performance advantages in comparison to discrete module assemblies. With the addition of an external 90-degree IF hybrid module, these IQ mixers can be used as either a Single Sideband Up-converter Mixer or an Image Reject Down-converter Mixer. The benefit of image rejection and sideband suppression can reduce overall system cost and complexity by removing the need for pre-selection filtering. Typical applications include point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radio, VSAT, military radar, electronic warfare, satellite communications, test equipment, and sensors.

Panda Microwave Limited
Panda Microwave customized up to 40GHz low phase noise (DRO or PDRO) , Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillators (PDRO) take advantage of the small size, low phase-noise and high efficiency, including PDRO and DRO. Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillators (PDRO) are used widely in today’s electronic warfare, radar and communication systems. They find use both Commercial and Military communication systems where demanding performance, high reliability and cost are critical. The phase locked oscillators utilize ceramic coaxial resonator and ceramic dielectric resonator fundamental frequency sources with low phase noise performance. The design of the Phase Locked Oscillators is based on sampling phase detector technology, which provides the comparison frequency at the same frequency as the fundamental frequency output.

Communications & Power Industries
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) high-intensity radiated field (HIRF) testing, military testing, electronic warfare simulation and scientific applications are based on the same switched-mode power supply technology as its rugged amplifiers. As a result, these instrumentation amplifiers have all the same performance and reliability advantages as the rugged product line, but have been neatly re-packaged into compact, lightweight and affordable rack-mountable units more suitable for less demanding physical environments. CPI TMD's new modular design (the PTCM range) has many user benefits, including advanced self-diagnostics, ethernet interfaces, remote management, VSWR protection and plug and play field replaceable power supplies.
