  • 1000W Ferroresonant Power Supply

    Series PRR - Kepco, Inc.

Kepco's PRR are 1000 Watt rack mounted laboratory systems power supplies that offer the low cost and very high dependability of ferroresonant voltage stabilization. The ferroresonant stabilizing technique provides extraordinary isolation from a wide variety of source noise. It is inherently short-circuit proof and cannot expose delicate loads to overvoltage hazards. Hence no crowbar, fuses, or bounding circuits are needed. Ferroresonant power supplies use no noise-producing switches or oscillators. Voltage setting is independent of delicate control settings or diode references and requires no comparators, references, or limiters. Efficiency is 70-80%.

  • 16-Channel DAC FMC Module

FMC216 – HPC - Sundance Multiprocessor Technology Ltd.

  • Sound Level Calibrator

    521 - ACO Pacific, Inc.

Accepted internationally 1 kHz represents the "0 dB" reference point of A, B, C Weighting and other filters utilized in acoustic measurement. The Pistonphone - a mechanical sound source - offers a slightly higher degree of accuracy at a substantial increase in cost. In addition, the 200 or 250 Hz operating frequency is mechanically limited and not suited for measurements of filtered inputs. The 0.2 dB accuracy is quickly lost in the 0.7 to 1.5 dB tolerances acceptable for weighting filters at frequencies around 250 Hz.

  • Pressure Balances

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Pressure balances (often also referred to as mechanical dead-weight testers or primary standards) are the most accurate reference instruments for pressure. Their functional principle is based on the physical principle of pressure = force/area. Mass pieces placed on the top of a piston-cylinder system are the source of a precisely defined force. By producing a certain (counter) pressure inside the pressure balance an equilibrium is achieved: the mass pieces, including the free-running piston of the piston-cylinder system, are floating, which will lead to a very accurate pressure at the test port.
