DP-VXI-4017 is an 80 Channel Relay Multiplexer constructed using ā2 Form Aā (DPST) relays. It is a āCā size 1 slot register based VXI module. This 80 Channel Relay Multiplexer module is highly configurable. As an 80 channel multiplexer, one input can be multiplexed to any of the 80 outputs or vice versa. The 80 channel multiplexer is divided into 8 banks of 10 channels each. This combination allows the board to be used as one group of 80x1 or two groups of 40x1 or four groups of 20x1 or eight groups of 10x1 differential multiplexer. The banks are isolated from each other by tree switches. 8 tree switches are used, one tree switch for each bank. A common tree switch is used to group all the eight banks. For short circuit protection resistors are provided for all the common terminals.

And its MEMS type switch module is bidirectional and transparent to signal format. It is remarkable that high speed switching and various driving program such as timed, manual or sequential switching mode are available through the combination of high speed response time switch and high speed FPGA processor. On the basis of less than 1ms switching time and 10ms minimum switching, high speed sequential switching can be installed easily by defining switching order, interval time and duration. Current switching channel status can be checked through LED fronted with slot, and present driving condition of optical switch can also be monitored through GOI or LCD monitor.

Optoplex's Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) module, also known as Tunable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (TOADM), is based on a proprietary micro-optics and micro-actuator design, athermal packaging technology, and state-of-the-art thin-film coating. When receiving a stream of optical signals of a plurality of wavelengths from the Input-Port (IN), this 3-port ROADM device directs a selected channel to the Drop-Port (ADD/DROP) and the remaining channels to the Express-Port (EXP), as depicted in the figure below. This tunable feature can also be used for adding a channel, when the device is used in reverse. Cascading two ROADM modules, simultaneous add and drop functions can be achieved. Each single ROADM device is optimized to cover either C- or L-band wavelengths. The standard 100- or 200-GHz channel spacing ROADM products allow for single-channel drop. Customized banded-channel drop ROADMs are available upon request.
