For indoor, far-field testing of a 3 foot diameter, 10 GHz antenna, the separation distance would need to be nearly 200 feet. A compact range can reduce this distance to under 20 feet. The ability to control temperature, eliminate wind deflections, avoid rain and snow as well as reduce maintenance costs are other day-to-day advantages of this product arrangement.

    The ICE2004 is an 8-channel RF Interference canceler system that achieves 40 dB of attenuation without the need for cumbersome reference signals from local transmitters. It is a simple two-port RF assembly that covers the 30 to 512 MHz frequency range.  The ICE2004 unit is placed directly between the receiver and its antenna.     The StarProd LTB is a unique defect detection bench for linear array antennas such as BTS. Tests performed on this bench instantly identify defects such as flawed or absent soldering, swapped wiring or short circuits. Results provide information on the position and type of any existing error. Operators can then immediately step in to make corrections knowing precisely how and where they are needed. StarProd LTB also performs tilt computations which can reveal a misconfiguration, or a mechanical or RF component defect. The end result: improved production processes and product quality.
