  • Cold Atomic Beam System

    AOSense

Detailed description of item: Complete cold atomic beam sources for alkaline-earth precision experiments and atomic devices. Small chambers with patented permanent-magnet Zeeman slowers and in-vacuum 2D MOT optics allow high flux with low outgassing and no thermal beam flux at the cold atom port, which provides a CF-133 connection to customer vacuum chamber. Advanced thermal design of the effusion oven allows long-lifetime operation at minimal heating power, with no water cooling. An integrated low-outgassing hot window is provided for coupling of on-axis Zeeman cooling light. Ion and getter pumps integrated into the chamber manage outgassing from the oven at temperatures up to 520 °C. Operating baseline pressures below 1×10-11 mbar can be attained in the customer’s downstream cold atom (typically 3D MOT) science chamber, with suitable pumping speed provided at the differentially-pumped cold beam output port.

This tester is suitable for online or offline detection of various armature electrical properties, such as power tool motors, garden tools, vacuum cleaner motors, small household appliance motors, automobile motors, fitness equipment motors, permanent magnet micro-motors, etc. The tooling of the tester meets the requirements of arbitrary placement of the armature, and can automatically and accurately sort/track faulty solder joints; the equipment startup methods include buttons, remote control, and sliding cover; it meets the armature test of special processes such as double insulation, and automatically identifies solder joints, winding short circuit/open circuit , winding errors, poor welding and other problems; the tester can also automatically count the number of tests, the number of defectives and other data, which is convenient for quality management analysis. The tester test items mainly include:bar-to-bar resistance, diagonal resistance, welding resistance, insulation resistance, ac hi-pot, surge.

  • Standalone Bench Test System for FCT, ICT, ISP and Boundary Scan

LEON Bench - Konrad Technologies GmbH

The LEONBench test system is a flexible and scalable test system that features an excellent signal integrity and a high-quality fixture interface. This is achieved by combining a cableless connection from ABex modules to Virginia panel interface connectors. The system is optimized for high pin count test applications. Furthermore, it can be equipped with vacuum and pneumatic. Support for multi-level contact fixtures enables separate contact levels for FCT and ICT. The Konrad ITA (Interchangeable Test Adapter) frame allows various fixture houses all over the world to build custom fixtures for the LEONBench. Up to 15U additional rack space allows adding a bunch of high-performance measurement devices from various manufactures. An integrated power distribution unit takes care about power on and off sequencing. As part of the LEON Family, LEONBench is based on the ABex platform which directly incorporates Konrad analog bus technology and PXI/PXIe in one chassis.

  • Deep Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer System

    VUVAS-10X - McPherson, Inc.

A new ultraviolet spectrophotometer system for optical metrology just arrived at NASA Goddard! The VUVAS-10X spectrophotometer works best in the 90 to 160 nanometer wavelength range, also known as deep or vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) region. It uses a windowless hydrogen plasma light source and differential pump section to reach many wavelengths beyond those of conventional deuterium lamps. The source also works with other gases, or gas mixtures, for atomic spectral line emission from about 30 nanometers (double ionized Helium gas) up to the Visible light range. The new spectrophotometer system, McPherson VUVAS-10X, uses a one-meter focal length high-resolution monochromator with the special light source, scintillated detector and Model 121 goniometric sample chamber. The system is ideal for optical transmission, absorbance and specular reflectance at incident angles up to 60 degrees. This McPherson spectrophotometer system will help develop, inspect and qualify optical materials and coatings used for very high altitude and extraterrestrial space flight missions.

  • Image Intensifiers

    Inframet

Image intensifier tubes (IITs) are vacuum tubes that amplify a low light-level image to observable levels. Image intensifier tubes are the most important modules of night vision devices that play crucial role in defense/security/industrial applications.Technology of manufacturing of image intensifier tubes is very difficult and performance parameters of modern IITs varies even within the same technological process. Next, test report offered by manufacturers cannot be fully trusted because there are some differences in test methods used by different manufactures. Further on, there are literature sources presenting conflicting claims of different manufacturers. It is quite common to find on the world market two night vision devices (or two image intensifier tubes) of the same data sheet parameters but of totally different image quality. Inverse situation is possible, too. Due to reasons mentioned above testing image intensifier tubes is of critical importance for both their manufacturers, manufacturers of night vision devices (NVDs) and final users of NVDs.

  • Electric Fatigue Testing Machine

EFT Series - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

EFT series electric fatigue testing machine is an ideal platform to test a variety of materials and components for the following high demanding tests: Quasi-static test; Reverse-stress mechanical low cycle fatigue loading tests (LCF); High temperature creep, stress-rupture, relaxation tests in load/strain control mode for medium-term or long term period. Mechanical fracture tests like crack growth & toughness tensile/compression test for ceramics in both room- or vacuum-, high- temperatures up to 1200 C conditions etc. Compression test on plate springs or clutch springs etc. It is also widely used to evaluate the mechanical properties of biologic materials, composites, orthopedic fixation devices, prostheses, spinal constructs, stents, dental implants, elastrometric materials, etc. It adopts electric actuator structure with all-elastic, backlash free, central ball-lead screw driving to achieve direct force transmission to the specimen, it is especially a perfect choice for R&D institutes, universities, nuclear power, automotive and aviation, & aerospace sectors from metals, composites, ceramics, springs and component parts.

  • High Temperature Self-Supporting Furnace Extensometers (1200 C)

Model 3448 - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

Epsilon developed this unique high temperature extensometer for testing metals, ceramics, and composites at the high temperatures produced by furnaces and induction heating systems. A combination of features make these extensometers easier to use and better in performance than other similar high temperature extensometers. The units are held on the specimen by light, flexible ceramic fiber cords. These make the extensometer self-supporting on the specimen. No furnace mounting brackets are required. The side load on the test sample is greatly reduced because of the self-supporting design and light weight of the sensor. Most materials testing furnaces with a side cut-out for an extensometer will readily accept a Model 3448. For induction heating systems, a different ceramic cord placement allows the extensometer to easily pass between the coils. The combination of radiant heat shields and convection cooling fins allow this model to be used at specimen temperatures up to 1200℃ (2200°F) without any cooling. An optional tiny air fan does enhance stability at the highest temperatures and is recommended for the highest accuracy and for tests with small elongations. The fan comes with a magnetic base for support so it can be mounted at any convenient location near the extensometer. Fan cooling is not generally needed for induction heated systems. High purity alumina ceramic rods are used. These are available in lengths as required to fit your furnace. A spare set is included with every extensometer. Specify chisel, vee chisel or conical contact points as desired. Most units operate equally well in tension and compression. Thus tensile, compression and cyclic tests like low cycle fatigue can all be performed with a single unit. For vacuum furnaces, special models are available. Epsilon can also provide a radiant heat transfer cooled version. This requires that the extensometer module be surrounded by a water cooled enclosure with a front slot for the ceramic rods.
