PXIe, Rubidium PXI Synchronization Module - The PXIe-3352 generates high-stability clock signals for PXI or third-party instrumentation. It provides a high-accuracy sine wave, square wave, or 1 pps output, and it includes a built-in GPS receiver (external antenna required) to discipline the rubidium oscillator for long-term stability. The front panel DC power input maintains power to the rubidium oscillator if the PXI chassis is powered off, keeping the rubidium oscillator stable over time and eliminating the effects of retrace. The GPS receiver also maintains its location information during power off for fast system bring up.

Loop-Powered Transmitters and Drivers

Loop-Powered Transmitters convert the output from proximity probes, seismic sensors, into a 4-20mA DC current, which is proportional to the input being measured. The transmitter converts the displacement or vibration signal to DC voltage and/or current for a DCS or PLC system. They control a 4-20mA current loop for a specified vibration range (ex. 0-5 mils peak-to-peak). The transmitters have a two-wire hook-up, powered solely by the loop current and have a power supply range of 15 to 36 volts.
