  • Programmable DC Electronic Loads (conventional and regenerative)

    Elektro-Automatik GmbH & Co.KG

Our programmable electronic loads are composed of an optimum mix of analogue- and digital technology (µ-controller/FPGA based). By combination of standardised electronic platforms out of a modular structure, we generate a large portfolio of electronic-load series, perfectly adapted in power, function, performance and cost to the numerous applications in industrial environment and R&D. EA programmable electronic loads are available in conventional technology (heat dissipating) and as “regenerative” loads. The latter allows, specifically under long-term testing condition (e.g. battery discharging) a full amortisation of its invested value by its energy-saving capability, similar as with Photovoltaic installations.

  • Integrated In-Line Meterology

    Angstrom Sun Technologies, Inc.

Although table-top version is our major product platform, we do provide in-line and in situ solutions. Although all in-line tools involve some special configuration and customized designs, we have had such experience to demo our capability in semiconductor, photovoltaic, glass industries. Both spectroscopic ellipsometer and spectroscopic reflectometers could be integrated for in-line or in situ application purpose. But how to implement them, or which one is more suitable, an environmental situation should be considered. You are welcome to discuss with our experts and we'll be glad to offer a real solution to meet your needs.

Solor Chamber also known as Solar Photovoltaic Testing Chamber and PV Module Test Chamber.

  • Spectroradiometers

MS-700 Series - EKO Instruments Co., Ltd.

Since their introduction, they were widely used as reference instruments for outdoors spectral irradiance measurements in the fields of Photovoltaic and Meteorological research. In 2001 the MS-700/701 was successfully introduced and adopted by researchers. Since then, the MS series expanded, with sophisticated instruments like MS-711 and MS-712 which cover a wide spectral range for VIS-NIR-IR applications. The MS-series now covers a spectral range from 300nm up to 1700 nm. All spectroradiometers benefit from an advanced spectrometer which is temperature controlled at a fixed temperature to maximise performance in a wide operating temperature range. During the years we proved that long term stability was one of the success factors of the MS-series spectroradiometers.

  • Ozone Generators & Systems

    MKS Instruments

MKS offers a wide range of ozone generators and modular delivery systems which produce ultra-pure, reliable ozone gas. In the clean semiconductor environment, Ozone reacts with a wide range of precursor gases resulting in the creation of Al2O3, ZrO2, HfO2, and La2O3 metal oxides to enable thin film deposition processes like Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Etch (ALE). MKS’ generator uses Grade 6 gas, enabling the creation of higher film density improving product yield. Photovoltaic and Display manufacturing leverage semiconductor best practices and utilize ozone to create enhanced thin film barriers, improving product performance and reliability.

  • Insulation Resistance Tester For PV (Judge Deterioration Point)

MIS-PVS - MULTI MEASURING INSTRUMENTS Co., Ltd.

The model MIS-PVS is an insulation resistance tester for the exclusive use in photovoltaic systems. The ordinary insulation resistance testers cannot make measurement properly during generation of PV systems. This instrument, however, can measure the insulation resistance simply by touching probe to the live line whether making generation or not. There are two ranges of PVH and PVL. PVH is for high voltage generation system (more than 500V and less than 1000V) and PVL is for the system less than 500V.

  • Insulation Resistance Tester For PV (4 Range)

MIS-PV2 - MULTI MEASURING INSTRUMENTS Co., Ltd.

The model MIS-PV2 is an insulation resistance tester for the exclusive use in photovoltaic systems.

  • Silicon Detectors

    Edmund Optics Inc.

Through the photovoltaic effect, detectors provide a means of transforming light energy to an electrical current. The root of the theory behind this phenomenon is a small energy gap between the valence and conduction bands of the detector. When light, with enough energy to excite an electron from the valence to the conduction band, is incident upon the detector, the resulting accumulation of charge leads to a flow of current in an external circuit. Since light is not the only source of energy that can excite an electron, detectors will have some amount of current that is not representative of incident light. For example, fluctuations in thermal energy can easily be mistaken for light intensity changes. A variety of these "non-light" contributions are present and, when summed up, make up the total noise within the detector.

  • Steady-state Solar Simulator For PV Modules

SORAS LS - PSE Instruments GmbH

In certification laboratories for photovoltaic modules, steady-state solar simulators are mostly used for stabilization / light soaking tests (MQT 19) and hot-spot endurance tests (MQT 09) according to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730. An initial stabilization is required for all PV modules that undergo a standard test procedure. For the hot-spot endurance test (MQT 09), it is important that the operator has easy access to the front and back site of the module. During the test, it is necessary to shade one cell after each other to take infrared pictures, which requires good visibility of the entire back side. Our swiveling module holding system enables easy access to the front and back side of the module.

  • Solar Simulators

    TriSOL CPV - OAI

Concentrating Photovoltaics (CPV) has the promise of producing solar cells with high cell efficiencies, which result in a reduction in the cost of operating a PV module. However, a CPV system requires the integration of CPV solar cells, modules and CPV optics into one efficient system. OAI’s focus is CPV cell testing methodology. The CPV cells can now be tested using OAI’s advanced standalone CPV Simulators for low dose and high dose configurations. The low dose CPV Solar Simulator provides exposure up to 50 Suns, whereas, the high dose CPV Solar Simulator provides exposure up to 1500 Suns. The low and high dose simulators provide exposure in varying Sun concentrations in various beam sizes from 1.5cm x 1.5cm to 7.5cm x 7.5cm, and may be configured with OAI’s I-V Test Systems.
