  • IP VIDEO MARGIN TESTER

    IPMT-3 - FM SYSTEMS, INC.

The IPMT-3 is a precision attenuator used to test IP video systems to insure that you have an adequate digital signal margin. Digital signal margin is the amount of signal level above the digital cliff that you have in your system to prevent a picture failure from occurring. IP cameras will give you a perfect picture until the network cable loss reaches beyond the minimum allowable signal level and then you suddenly get no picture at all. This effect is called the digital cliff, because like walking off of a cliff, everything is great till you take the last step off the edge and then all is lost.

  • Warm-Up Board

WECO 9000 - Radian Research, Inc.

The WECO 9000 Warm-Up Board from Radian Research provides a safe, easy to use, affordable solution to your AMI meter functional testing. The WECO 9000 originated as part of RADIAN Innovate™ Custom Design Solutions. Numerous process improvement workshops RADIAN facilitated at electric utilities have shown us that meter shops are experiencing as low as 65% pass yield on AMI meter testing. This means almost half the meters arriving are transported through the testing process and not ready for accuracy testing. Typical failures include inoperable display, diagnostic errors, disconnect switch in an open state, wrong firmware version, and inability to register on the communications network.

  • Surface Insulation Resistance Testing (SIR Testing)

    National Technical Systems

Surface Insulation Resistance (SIR), as defined by IPC, is the electrical resistance of an insulating material between a pair of contacts, conductors, or grounding devices that is determined under specified environmental and electrical conditions. In respect to the world of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and printed circuit assemblies (PCAs), SIR testing—also commonly referred to as Temperature Humidity Bias (THB) testing—is used to evaluate a product’s or a process’ ability to resist “failure” by means of current leakage or an electrical short (i.e., dendritic growth). SIR testing is typically performed under elevated temperature and humidity conditions—such as 85°C/85% RH and 40°C/90%—with periodic insulation resistance (IR) measurements obtained.

  • 8K Electrosurgical Insulation Defect Detector

    MMPD - McGan Technology

McGan Technology’s MMPD-8K electrosurgical insulation defect detector is a battery operated unit that tests the integrity, such as pinholes, cracks or defects, of the insulation of electrosurgical instrument in order to prevent inadvertent tissue burns which may occur during electrosurgical instrument procedures. The integrity of the insulation of electrosurgical instruments can occur over time, through normal surgical use, through the accidental contact with a sharp instrument or the rubbing of the insulation to the point of abrading it. The insulation failure provides an alternate pathway for the current to leave the instrument’s electrode usually beyond the sight of the surgeon which will result in the unintended tissue burn. Using an electrosurgical test equipment maintenance program can greatly reduce the number of these inadvertent burns during electrosurgical procedures.

  • Magnetizer

    412B - Oersted Technology

The Model 412B magnetizer provides many of the features of the Oersted Technology 300-series magnetizers in a small benchtop cabinet.
