The Field Logger
The Field Logger is a stand-alone data logger which is capable of recording potential vs. time and LPR vs. time data. The instrument is battery powered and records data onto an attached SD memory card. ElvaX Geo
Instant on-site elemental analysis is one of the necessities of the modern mining industry. ElvaX Geo offers you accurate data and ease of operation during geo exploration or quality assurance. The instrument is designed specifically for long non-stop convenient operation. The unique 800 mm2 analytical spot analysis increases averaging of inhomogeneous samples. A composite pole helps you keep a comfortable body position during operation and enables you to analyze hard-toreach places. This form factor allows for uninterrupted measurement during slow walking while measurement results are communicated to the operator through headphones. ElvaX Geo is operated through a PDA in a protective enclosure, which can be put underneath outer garment in case of extreme climatic conditions. The Li-Ion Battery can be hidden as well. ElvaX Geo software uses both the Fundamental Parameters and the Empirical Calibration Methods. Fundamental parameters analysis of unknown samples without empirical calibration is remarkably accurate. However every instrument is calibrated for the basic mineral types with NIST or NIST traceable samples. ElvaX Geo demonstrates excellent limits of detection and repeatability.

Energy Probes
RjP-600 Series
The RjP-600 Series energy probes integrate the detector and preamplifier in the same enclosure, thereby maximizing signal integrity between the detector and preamplifier. This permits longer cable runs between the probe and instrument, as is often necessary in production environments. Probe specific information, like calibration date and wavelength response curves, is stored in the probe for access by the instrument. Optical Time Domain Reflectometers
An optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) is a precision instrument used to locate events or faults along a fiber link, typically within an optical communications network. The OTDR launches a series of high speed optical pulses into the fiber to be measured. Various events on the fiber generates a Rayleigh back scatter that returns to the OTDR and the strength of the return pulses are measured and integrated as a function of time, and plotted as a function of fiber length. The horizontal axis is the distance and the vertical axis is the loss.

Battery Fault Insertion Unit
The Battery Fault Insertion Unit (FIU) provides intelligent switching of cell-simulation channels for the Battery Simulator 1200. The switching capability enables simulation of open-circuit and short-to-rail fault conditions on any cell channel for the purposes of battery management system (BMS) testing. Additionally, a four-wire auxiliary input allows you to connect an external digital multimeter (DMM) instrument to any cell channel for very high-accuracy bypass current and cell voltage measurements. Each FIU provides 24 independently-programmable cell-switching channels for one or two 12-cell Battery Simulator 1200 units. Additional Battery Simulator 1200 and FIU instruments can extend functionality up to 120 series-connected cell channels.
