Each model has fixed gain settings of x1 (0dB), x10 (20dB), x100 (40dB) and x1000 (60dB) over a selectable bandwidths of 100Hz, 1kHz (HP), 3kHz, 30kHz, 100kHz and 1MHz (7000 model only). Noise referred to input is 7nV√Hz and common mode rejection is >100dB at 1kHz. Momentary pushbutton switches are provided that control coupling, bandwidth, gain and channel on/off selections. BNC connectors are provided for single-ended and differential input, ac output, and dc output (optional) connections.

The FastX1703-DIG is a raw-length PCI board with two input connectors. Each connector supports 16 data bits, 10 general purpose inputs, and 6 general purpose outputs. Clock rates up to 166 MHz can be supported. All the inputs and outputs are connected to an FPGA on the board are essentially available for any purpose required by the interface. The front-end data is formatted and preprocessed by a FPGA before being sent to the memory subsection, zero to four Nexperia PNX1702 VLIW processors before output. Pressure Test Pump is a hand operated pressure pump designed to generate pressure from 95% vacuum to 1,500psi (100bar). A high-quality screw press is designed for fine pressure adjustment, with an adjustment resolution up to 10 Pa (0.1 mbar). A specially designed shut-off valve makes the pressure as stable as possible during calibration. A built-in gas-liquid isolator protects the pump from moisture and dirt to reduce the need for maintenance. Two hand-tight quick connectors installed on the pump allow easy connecting and disconnecting to the test pump without the need for PTFE tape or wrenches. These converters have been designed to convert the fixed transition-times of the Keysight 8133A 3 GHz timing generator (<100 ps transitions) to slower, fixed transition-times (150 ps, 250 ps, 500 ps, 1 ns, 2 ns) hence reducing the signal bandwidth. All transition-times are from 10% to 90% of amplitude.
