  • 3U CompactPCI Serial 9th Gen Intel Xeon®/Core™ i7 Processor Blade

cPCI-A3525 Series - ADLINK Technology Inc.

CompactPCI® Serial (PICMG CPCI-S.0) is a new modular computer standard officially adopted by PICMG in 2011. The CompactPCI Serial standard defines a completely new connector to support high-speed serial interfaces including PCI Express, SATA, USB and Ethernet. A CompactPCI Serial backplane has six high-speed connectors P1 to P6 on the system slot but only P1 is mandatory on peripheral slots, P2 to P6 being optional. A CompactPCI Serial system can comprise a total of nine blades (one system blade and eight peripheral I/O blades) through an Ethernet full mesh or single star architecture. The CompactPCI® Serial standard is the next-generation of the CompactPCI® specification and provides more flexibility and higher speed and bandwidth in modular system solutions.

Each of the 32 channel outputs can be used to drive the output high or low using a high current capacity drive capable of sourcing 0.4A from the high side or 0.5A sink on the low side for each channel. The module is available in two versions with either serial or parallel capture of the input levels

  • SparkFun Shift Register Breakout

    74HC595 - SparkFun Electronics

This is a breakout for the SOIC version of the 74HC595 shift register IC. Clock in data and latch it to free up IO pins on your micro. All pins from the IC are broken out to standard 0.1" spaced headers. The Serial in and out pins are on opposite sides of the board with the remaining pins carried over so that multiple shift register boards can be chained together.

  • USB 32-Bit Whacker

PIC32MX795 Development Board - SparkFun Electronics

The new version of the UBW32 now uses the PIC32MX795 IC. Based on the work of Brian Schmalz, the UBW32 is a small development board for the new PIC32MX795 32-bit CPU from Microchip. The UBW32 is breadboard friendly and includes all of the external circuitry needed to get the PIC32 up and running. Power can be provided over USB or from an external source. It has three push buttons (Reset, and two user-defined buttons) and five LEDs (Power, USB, and three user defined LEDs). All of the 78(!) of the PIC32's I/O pins are broken out.
