  • 1.533 Μm Frequency-Locked Laser

    Thorlabs, Inc.

Thorlabs' LLD1530 Frequency-Locked Laser is a narrow linewidth, DFB-laser-diode-based, turnkey system with a vacuum emission wavelength of 1532.8323 nm and a high SMSR of at least 35 dB. The laser frequency is actively stabilized to a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-traceable molecular transition of acetylene and has an absolute accuracy at start-up that is better than ±25 MHz. The emission frequency immediately after start-up is then maintained with a ±25 MHz stability, providing an overall frequency accuracy of ±50 MHz. The LLD1530 is an accurate frequency reference designed to provide low-noise laser emission with excellent frequency stability, accuracy, and precision immediately at start-up. This source is ideal for use in demanding FTIR instrumentation, instrument calibration, gas sensing, and coherent telecommunications applications.

  • Tunable System Sources

    Keysight Technologies

The Keysight N7711A and N7714A tunable lasers are single-port and four-port sources, available with C-band or L-band wavelength coverage. All models can reach any wavelength point within their specified wavelength in the C- and L-band range. The narrow linewidth and offset grid fine-tuning capability make them ideal sources for realistic loading of the latest transmission systems. In system loading applications, it may be preferable to grid-tune the lasers like system transmitters, simply by changing the channel index. The channel grid is adjustable to standard ITU-T grid spacing like 50 GHz, and to arbitrary grids. The Keysight N7711A and N7714A tunable lasers are available in a compact format with half-rack width and one rack-unit height. This format makes them the right choice for high channel-count system load applications.

  • Microwave Wideband Externally Modulated Transmitters (without RF Amp)

MT80 (30KHz~40GHz) - Hangzhou Huatai Optic Tech. Co., Ltd.

MT80 series microwave optical transmitter, adopts external modulation technique, are able to transmit 40GHz microwave RF signal with long distance, wide bandwidth, and flat responsibility. They provide an outstanding linearity fiber optical communication for analogue and digital wideband microwave application. Due to avoidance of using expensive coaxial cable or wave guide, there will be no limitation in transmission distance, which improves the signal quality and reliability of the microwave communication. They can be widely applied in microwave communication system such as remote wireless; timing and reference signal distribution, telemetry, measurement and delay line etc as well as 10Gb/s and 40Gb/s high speed communication system. MT80 adopts low noise, narrow linewidth CW DFB laser as light source; LiNbO3 external modulator as signal modulation, no laser chirp, low dispersion distortion, high extinction ratio, Full-transparency operation mode. It can be applied in long distance and extra-long distance transmission after EDFA.

  • Erbium Fiber Frequency Comb

    AOSense

Detailed description of item: The AOSense frequency comb is a low noise, polarization maintaining (PM) device. Key features include a PM fiber architecture centered at 1550nm with turnkey modelocking; a free-running linewidth of the carrier-envelope offset frequency of <200 kHz; a temperature-insensitive all-fiber f-2f interferometer exhibiting fceo beatnotes with SNR > 45dB (300kHz RBW); and dual fast/slow cavity length actuators with a bandwidth of >300 kHz. The repetition rate of the comb is factory set and allows matching across multiple combs for dual comb applications. The optics package incorporates an optical heterodyne module designed for locking to the comb to an ITU-specified laser reference. The comb is capable of supporting an Allan deviation of < 5 x 10-18 at 1 second and ~10-20 after 105 seconds. Add-on features include all fiber extensions to visible wavelengths corresponding to several atomic transitions. An integrated comb electronics package is currently under development.
