  • Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT)

    Eurofins E&E

Quickly validate reliability and identify manufacturing defects that could cause product failures in the field with MET’s Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT)HALT technique uses a combination of accelerated stresses to expose product flaws early in the design and manufacturing stages, which improves product reliability and customer confidence inherent to the design and fabrication process of a new product as well as during the production phase to find manufacturing defects that could cause product failures in the field.

  • Testing Tensile Strength of Overlays, and Overlayments

James Bond Test ™ MK III - James Instruments Inc.

The James Pull Off Adhesion/Bond Tester measures the pull force used to pull a 2? or 3? disc away from the material being tested. This pressure is displayed on a precision gauge and can be related directly to the strength of the adhesion to the surface being tested.

  • FCC Part 15 Testing & Certification

    Eurofins E&E

FCC Part 15 is the section of Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations that sets limitations on the amount of electromagnetic interference allowed from digital and electronic devices. FCC Part 15 also covers technical specifications, administrative requirements and other conditions relating to the marketing of FCC Part 15 devices.

High precision 12-bit 50µm reading allows inspection of minute image details. Wide dynamic range resulting in wide allowance of X-ray exposure value.

  • Bolt Extensometers for Proof Load Testing

Model 3565 - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

The Model 3565 uses hard conical points to contact the bolt at the center of the head and at the bottom. It is fully adjustable for different length bolts ranging from 25 mm (1 inch) in length to 150 mm (6 inches) standard. Extension beams are available for longer bolts. The standard maximum measuring range is 1.25 mm (0.05 inches). Generally, on longer bolts this extensometer will be self-supported without requiring any centering marks or punch marks on the bolt. For shorter bolts these marks may be required. If the conical pins are sharp, marks are often not needed even on the shortest bolts. The extensometer has a zero adjustment screw to adjust the length between the contact pins. This is used to set the output voltage to zero, which corresponds to the correct starting position for the test. It also includes a breakaway lower arm. In the event a bolt should fail, the breakaway arm snaps free, helping to prevent damage to the extensometer. This is easily re-installed. In the event that bolt failures are likely during a test, it is recommended the user attach a cord around the upper part of the beam and tie the other end to the test frame to prevent the extensometer from falling. The conical point contacts included with the extensometer are made from tungsten carbide. The Model 3565 extensometers are strain gaged devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gaged transducers. Most often they are connected to a test machine controller. The signal conditioning electronics for the extensometer is typically included with the test machine controller or may often be added. In this case the extensometer is shipped with the proper connector and wiring to plug directly into the electronics. For systems lacking the required electronics, Epsilon can provide a variety of solutions, allowing the extensometer output to be connected to data acquisition boards, chart recorders or other equipment.

  • Diametral Extensometers for Rock and Concrete Testing

Model 3975 - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

Designed for accurate measurement of small diametral strains such as those required to determine Poisson’s ratio of rock, concrete and asphalt samples. The units are designed to be used in conjunction with the Model 3542RA axial averaging extensometer.

  • Extensometers for Simple Performance Testing of Asphalt

Model 3909 - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

Designed for measuring axial displacements in the simple performance tests prescribed by NCHRP Report 465, and determining dynamic modulus of hot mix asphalt per AASHTO TP062.

  • Universal Friction & Wear Testing Machine

Model MMW-1A - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

The MMW-1A UTM for Friction Wear can simulate rolling, sliding and rolling & sliding combined movement under the certain contact pressure to complete point, line and plane simulating tests. The UTM for Friction Wear can be used to evaluate the friction wear performance of lubricant, metal, plastics, coating, rubber, and ceramics etc. The UTM for Friction Wear can not only satisfy the needs of traditional petrochemical industry to research, develop and inspect the various kinds of intermediate & high grade hydraulic oil, combustion engine oil and gear oil, but also can simulate evaluation on new material development and new technology research under dry condition.

  • Sealed Beam Bulb Testing System

    H710019SSL - 6TL Engineering

EOL test for manufacturing of bulbs with LED for applications requiring to ensure watertightness: vehicles, marine, swimming pools, operating rooms, classified areas (Ex Zone), etc. The test system checks in a short time all the light and electrical characteristics of the bulb. A high precision Micro Leakage Meter also checks that there are no leaks between the environment and the inside of the bulb. The test results are recorded on the PC and can be printed on a quality control label attached to each unit.

  • Dielectric Loss Tangent Testing Instruments

    Soken Electric Co. Ltd

Insulation materials in electrical equipment are used between a pair of electrodes; therefore it can be expressed as capacitors. Applying AC voltage to a capacitor with insulation materials causes an energy loss due to the leak current, the dielectric polarization, and the partial discharge. Because of this, the phase of the capacitor current is more delayed than that of a zero-loss current (reactive current) flowing in an ideal insulation material. The delay angle is called "Dielectric Loss Angle", and the tangent is "Dielectric Loss Tangent" (tanδ). Please refer to the technical guide explained in detail.

  • Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Testing

    TÜV SÜD Japan

SAR limits are there to protect all of us from wireless devices that exceed the transmit Radio Frequency (RF) threshold. SAR stands for Specific Absorption Rate. It's a measure of the rate at which energy is absorbed by your body when you are exposed to an RF electromagnetic field. In some countries, the SAR test result figure has to be displayed at the point of sale. To have a presence in these markets, your products must meet strict SAR regulations.
