The 40-666A-011 is a dual 3-channel 10A MUX and is part of our range of high current multiplexers occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each multiplexer switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.

Our low-density PXI switch matrix modules are a cost-effective solution for applications that require relatively small matrices in the PXI format. These low-density switch matrices can be expanded by connecting together multiple modules, however, we recommend that users look at the higher density switch matrix modules that involve less user configuration. Reed relay versions use high quality sputtered ruthenium relays that exhibit excellent contact performance under low and medium level switching conditions. For general purpose applications that also require higher power handling, the range of electro-mechanical relays provides an ideal solution.

Stack Match controller is a replacement for the rotary switch Stack Match controller. It features pushbutton switches for easy antenna selection and has outputs for both phase control and an auxiliary output. It is a component of the ShackLAN product line and as such can be fully remotely controlled via computer with our ShackLAN Control Center software. All outputs are switched with relay contacts for maximum reliability and power for the external switching unit may be applied from a separate power source to provide maximum isolation from the ShackLAN network. For example, a fiber optic transmitter at the HV level for waveforms to be received and measured or recorded by grounded instrumentation might be powered by an isolation transformer secondary to primary either insulated by potting, oil or air. The low dielectric constant of air insulation provides lower capacitive coupling between the secondary and the primary or ground than would solid or oil insulation. The lower capacitance provides better isolation both at line frequency and especially at high frequency voltages such as lightning or switching transients.
