  • Vector Network Analyzers

    SolarWinds

One of the most important measurement tasks in radio engineering is the analysis of electrical circuits. A network analyzer is an instrument that is designed to solve this problem with high accuracy and efficiency. The circuits that can be analyzed with network analyzers have a wide range of applications ranging from simple devices such as filters and amplifiers to complex modules used in communications satellites. PLANAR specializes in the development and production of vector network analyzers that combine the capabilities of scalar network analyzers that measure not only the amplitude components of the main characteristics of the system (gain, loss, standing wave ratio, etc.), but also allow measurements of the amplitude and phase characteristics of the system .

The PW3390 delivers 4 input channels and ±0.04% basic accuracy for power - the top instrument in its class. Achieve more precise measurements of the power and efficiency of high efficiency equipment used in power electronics. Further, a 200 kHz measurement band and flat amplitude and phase characteristics up to high frequencies enable the precise measurement of power at top frequency levels and low power factor.

  • Broadband Amplifiers

Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG

R&S broadband amplifiers are innovative solid-state solutions with exceptional RF performance for generating RF power up to 13 kW in the frequency range of 4 kHz to 6 GHz. Designed as very compact amplifiers, at highest power density, they are robust against severest output mismatch while featuring high availability. Applications range from amplitude, frequency, phase, pulse to OFDM modulation.

  • Axle Damping Test Bench

    C_MSD S 2.5 W220 | VP 215048 - Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH & Co. KG.

The axle damping test bench C_MSD is characterised by a fast and precise mechanical testing of the axle damping. Through the frequency-controlled plate activation via electric motors, the maximum vibration amplitude is calculated and then the axle damping is evaluated according to the Lehr damping principle. The fully automatic test sequence, including the calculation of axle and vehicle weight, saves time and allows a reliable assessment of the axle damping.

Its excellent attenuation accuracy across a wide operating temperature range ensures precise measurements.

  • Current Pulsers and Laser Diode Drivers (Pulsed Current)

    Avtech Electrosystems, Ltd.

These instruments generate current pulses whose amplitude is largely independent of the load voltage. This makes them ideal for pulsing device whose voltage may vary with time (for instance, the voltage drop of laser diodes may vary with temperature, or explosive squibs which change impedance during ignition). This voltage independence is a trade-off with speed. If faster rise times are required, consider using pulsed voltage instruments instead.
