Elcometer Limited
Concrete structures are normally constructed using steel reinforcement and Elcometer offers Concrete Covermeters and Rebar Locators to either measure the depth of concrete over the rebar or simply to detect the rebar under the surface. Half-cell versions of the Covermeter can be used to assess the probability that corrosion is taking place on the rebar. Test Hammers are used to assess the surface hardness of cured concrete and Elcometer offers several moisture meters that can be used to determine if the structure is sufficiently dry for coating.

Stangers Testing Services
The first signs of cracking and rust staining can serve as an early warning that deterioration of a reinforced concrete structure is about to take hold, However, these signs are not always in evidence requiring specialist knowledge coupled with appropriate technology to identify if the structure is suffering deterioration, albeit in the early stages.

ELE International
Concrete, a composite mixture of water, aggregates, cement and sometimes additives, is the most commonly employed man-made building material in construction projects. The quality of concrete is crucial if structures are to be safe and serve the purpose for which they were designed. Consequently, the testing of fresh, hardened and in-situ concrete is vital to ensure that concrete structures comply with specifications and relevant standards.

Qualitest International Inc.
This category comprises the range of instruments that evaluate parameters related to the corrosion of the concrete or the steel reinforcing bar within the concrete.
-
RCON -
Giatec Scientific Inc.
Giatec RCON™ is a non-destructive device for measuring the electrical resistivity of concrete specimens in the laboratory without any additional sample preparation requirements. This measurement can easily be made on the same concrete samples that are currently used for the compressive strength testing of concrete.
-
CTS-02V4 -
Nitto Construction Inc.
CTS-02V4 (Concrete Test and Surveyor) is a Non-destructive testing device for estimation of compressive strength of concrete. CTS estimates the compressive strength of concrete based on Mechanical Impedance Method by measuring a waveform of impact force with an accelerometer which mounted on the hammer unit.

Elcometer Limited
Test hammers are used to determine the surface hardness of concrete and are one of the most widely used instruments to assess concrete compressive strength. It is the quickest, simplest and least expensive method to obtain an estimate of the quality and strength of the concrete. Test Hammers with both analogue and digital displays are available.

W-M-250 -
James Instruments Inc.
The W-M-250 Manual Test Hammer is the traditional instrument used for the non-destructive testing of hardened concrete. This easy-to-use instrument provides a quick and simple test for obtaining an immediate indication of concrete strength in various parts of a structure. The minimum verifiable strength is 1400 PSI (10 MPa)

BlueRock -
Giatec Scientific Inc.
BlueRock is a rugged, waterproof sensor designed to wirelessly monitor the relative humidity and temperature of concrete from fresh to hardened stages.
-
Surf -
Giatec Scientific Inc.
Giatec Surf™ is a laboratory test device for rapid, easy and accurate measurement of the surface electrical resistivity of concrete based on the four-probe (Wenner-Array) technique. The Surf™ patented technology automatically measures resistivity around the concrete specimen using four channels of 4-probe array (located at 90° from each other). The PC software generates the required reports according to the standard specifications.

Qualitest International Inc.
This category of products comprises the range of instruments utilized to evaluate construction material strength. The range of instruments is typically considered to be two parts. The first are non-destructive field tests of compressive strength. The second are tensile field tester systems to either determine the tensile strength of an overlay or bond material, or tensile strength of anchors embedded in the concrete. The first group is pure Non-Destructive Testing where the strength of the material is determined by correlation to another parameter more easily available and readily apparent. This is typically the hardness of the concrete or the resistance to penetration by either a pin or probe. The Windsor Probe, Windsor Pin and our line of Rebound Hammers all fall within this category. These are widely used standard tests and as such have seen use throughout the world.

Ohmcorr Test System™ -
James Instruments Inc.
OhmCorr has two probes spaced 1.97" (5cm) apart which are placed in holes drilled to a depth of 3/8th" (8mm) and filled with conductive gel. The direct digital read-out of resistivity is displayed on the LCD when the control switch is activated. OhmCorr and CorMap, when used together, provide an economical and sound diagnostic system of corrosion in reinforced concrete.
