Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
Pickering's PXI Differential Fault Insertion Switch Modules support multiple channels of two-wire serial interfaces. Each channel can simulate an open fault in either or both wires, a short between both wires or a short to externally applied fault conditions. *Two module types are available: Two wire fault insertion module suitable for CAN Bus and FlexRay.*High bandwidth two wire fault insertion module suitable for Gigabit Ethernet, AFDX and BroadR-Reach.

40-195-001 -
Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
The 40-195 is a 22 Channel Fault Insertion Switch, primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive & avionics applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers. It is designed to be able to insert different fault conditions on pairs of signals between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit, Short-Circuit between signal pairs, Short-Circuit between signal pairs and user applied fault conditions e.g. Power or GND. Relays in-line with the signal paths allow open circuit conditions to be simulated on either side or both sides of a signal pair. Relays between each channel pair enable adjacent signals to be shorted, and relays between signal paths and the "Fault" connection allow the application of external user applied fault conditions.

CableTroll 2320 -
Nortroll
CableTroll 2320 is an indicator for detection of Earth faults (PtG) and short circuit (PtP) faults on multi-core and single core cable terminations. The unit uses NorTroll type current sensors.
-
LineTroll 110Tμr -
Nortroll
The indicator is powered by replaceable long-life lithium batteries which have a life expectancy of 10-15 years. It provides a 360 degree visibility for indication both for transient faults and permanent faults.

Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
Our PXI Fault Insertion Insertion Switch Modules feature a breakout arrangement that allows faults to be attached to the sensor lines, this includes the breaking of a connection or the adding of defect – all of which can simulate connectivity problems in the system.

Shirla -
BAUR Prüf- und Messtechnik GmbH
Cable fault location with the BAUR shirla. Shirla the fault location system is used for cable and cable sheath testing as well as for pre-location and pinpointing of cable faults. The pre-location based on the measuring bridge principle according to Murray and Glaser that is designed especially for power cables, also enables pre-location for control and lighting cables. Null balance and evaluation take place automatically.* Cable and cable sheath testing up to 10 kVC* Resistance measurement* Cable and cable sheath fault pre-location with precision measuring bridge* Adjustable cable sections that can be defined with length, conductor cross-section and material respectively and can be considered in the distance calculation
