  • Sub-Bottom Profilers

ParaSound Series - Teledyne Marine RESON B.V.

The ParaSound is the most advanced hull mounted parametric sub-bottom profiler in the market. It utilises the parametric effect to generate a low frequency secondary signal by emitting two primary signals of higher frequencies. In comparison with traditional towed systems the ParaSound family offers very narrow transmission angle and greater positioning accuracy as well as higher operational speed and availability. Our sub-bottom profilers are suitable for operations to depths beyond the continental rise into the abyssal plains and down to the deep ocean trenches.

  • FlowSpec DDoS Mitigation

    FastNetMon

Large volumetric-based DDoS attacks are increasing in terms of frequency and scale at which they are perpetrated. With hundreds of-gigabits worth of attacks becoming commonplace, organizations not only face service interruptions for customers but the complete implosion of their infrastructure’s operation. In the face of this increasingly challenging threat landscape, BGP FlowSpec DDoS mitigation has emerged as one of the most effective techniques to mitigate DDoS attacks. Combined with an accurate and speedy detection system, it helps manage and synchronize working with firewalls to mitigate these attacks.

  • Canceler Series

    Referenceless Canceler - Pole/Zero

The ICE2004 is an 8-channel RF Interference canceler system that achieves 40 dB of attenuation without the need for cumbersome reference signals from local transmitters. It is a simple two-port RF assembly that covers the 30 to 512 MHz frequency range.  The ICE2004 unit is placed directly between the receiver and its antenna. The ICE2004 enables the reception of low-level RF signals in the presence of up to 8 strong interferers as a result of its inherent low loss path for all non-canceled signals.

  • TDR Composite Cure Monitoring

    Material Sensing & Instrumentation

MSI Time-Domain-Reflectometry (TDR) Composite Cure Monitoring [1-4] provides a new approach to cure monitoring of advanced polymer composites. Using a high-speed pulse and inexpensive microwave sensor, our TDR system follows rotation of a polar resin molecule, providing real-time information on viscosity and percent cure. Operating in the microwave frequency range, TDR Cure Monitoring provides an alternative between high-frequency fiber-optic methods and low-frequency dielectric methods, combining optical-style precision and miniaturization with electrode-based simplicity and robustness.

  • Transmission Line Probes

    Teledyne LeCroy

Transmission line probes are a special type of passive probe designed for use at very high frequencies. They replace the high impedance probe cable found in a traditional passive probe with a precision transmission line, with a characteristic impedance that matches the oscilloscope input (50 Ohm). This greatly reduces the input capacitance to a fraction of a picofarad, minimizing the loading of high frequency signals. A matching network at the tip increases the DC input resistance. While they have lower DC input resistance than a traditional passive probe (usually 500 Ohm) to 1kOhm), the input impedance of these probes remains nearly constant over their entire frequency range. A traditional /10 passive probe will have a 10 MOhm) input impedance at DC, however this impedance drops rapidly with frequency, passing below the input impedance of a transmission line probe at less than 100 MHz.

  • Optical Chopper

    Edmund Optics Inc.

These high stability variable frequency optical choppers each include a set of chemically blackened photoetched chopping discs. The mini chopper is an excellent choice for applications requiring a compact package. The chopping discs come in a variety of slot apertures and allow operation. Beam diameter is limited to 0.75mm when using the 200-slot disc and 1.0mm when using the 40 slot mini disc. The easy-to-interchange blades are made of non-magnetic, half hard brass and can be used in combination. Chopping frequency is set by adjusting a ten-turn dial or by applying an external DC voltage to the BNC input. Reference output is a TTL pulse and is in-phase with chopping action. The 5 digit led display gives a direct read-out of the chopping frequency. Power: 90-130V or 180-260V; 50/60Hz; 12VA max. Power supply included. Choppers are often used together with lock-in amplifiers.

  • Multifunction Calibrator 15 ppm Basic Accuracy

    MC142 - Powertek LLC

Multifunction calibrator MC142 is a precision voltage, current and power calibration source serving as a measurement standard in calibration laboratories and production lines; where verification of electrical measurement equipment & sensors is required. It can be used for calibration and adjustment of meters measuring voltage, current, power, resistance, capacitance and frequency. Internal harmonic and non-harmonic signals make it possible to test electrical performance of meters using signals with various crest factors. Frequency modes enable selection of frequency, amplitude and duty cycle of the output signal. These are suitable for basic calibration of digital and analog oscilloscopes along with transient recorders. The calibrator is equipped to measure temperature with TC and RTD temperature sensors. Its built-in multimeter can be used independently or simultaneously with the calibrator output. Testing of transducers of various types, regulators and sensors can be performed, without the necessity to use any other measuring instrument.
